LinkedInHuman Resources -> Recruitment, Hiring and Onboarding

While AI was making cold emails and LinkedIn connects monotonous, we decided to bring in the humane factor in cold outreach by physically knocking at corporate offices. Yes, you read that right. The PlaceCom team at GMP(Defence Officers) FMS Delhi University is stepping out of campus boundaries and into boardrooms—meeting organizations where decisions are made, conversations are real, and insights are unfiltered. Traditionally, the script has been simple: corporates visit Tier-1 B-schools like FMS for hiring. This time, we flipped the script. Through our Corporate Outreach Program, we are actively visiting companies to: Understand evolving talent needs Identify gaps in the talent acquisition landscape Build stronger, more meaningful relationships Learn directly from industry leaders Because networking isn’t just about sending connection requests—it’s about showing up. And cold outreach? We’re taking it to a whole new level. No templates. No automation. Just curiosity, conversations, and courage. In a world driven by algorithms, we chose authenticity. In a process often defined by formalities, we chose initiative. This isn’t just outreach. It’s experiential learning. It’s market immersion. It’s management education in its truest sense. Because the best way to understand the job market… is to walk right into it. And We didn't mind having some fun in between :) Priya Singh Rohit Gupta Karan Singh Katoch Vaishali Singh Harsh Verma Narain .
