Attended the Hack2skill x Google for Developers Build with AI Bootcamp and it was an amazing learning experience. The sessions were focused around Agentic AI, Google Antigravity, MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, ADK, and deploying AI applications using Cloud Run. Got hands-on exposure to how AI agents can collaborate, access tools through MCP, and build end-to-end applications with real-world workflows. One of the most interesting takeaways was understanding how MCP connects tools and context together, making AI systems much more powerful and practical. Apart from the tech, it was great networking with developers and learning about the future of AI-powered development. Really enjoyed the sessions and hands-on demos! 🙌
May 2026Sharing something we've been building at CataZenta. Zen AI is our AI assistant built for product catalogs. A lot of catalog work today still feels unnecessarily manual — from creating and updating products to checking missing data and syncing information across channels. Zen AI is designed to simplify these everyday workflows. The goal with Zen AI is to make everyday catalog operations simpler, faster, and more intuitive for product teams. If you'd like to see Zen AI in action, feel free to book a demo or message us directly.
May 2026In a world obsessed with predicting the "next big thing," Morgan Housel’s Same as Ever offers a grounding alternative: focus on what never changes. While the catalysts of history are often random and unpredictable, human behavior—greed, fear, risk, and the need for certainty—remains remarkably constant. Here are three key takeaways that challenge how we approach strategy and growth: 1. Risk is What You Don't See We often treat risk as a data point or a manageable variable. Housel argues that the biggest risk is always the one nobody is talking about. It’s the "unknown unknown" that disrupts even the most ironclad roadmaps. • The Lesson: Efficiency is a vulnerability. Building "slack" or margin into your plans isn't a sign of waste; it’s a strategy for survival when the unpredictable happens. 2. The Lure of the "Magic Number" We have a natural tendency to overcomplicate solutions, searching for complex formulas to solve human problems. However, most long-term success comes from doing the basics—compounding, patience, and humility—uncommonly well for a long time. • The Lesson: A simple strategy that you can stick with during a crisis is far superior to a complex one that breaks the moment things get messy. 3. Expectations vs. Reality Happiness and success are often a calculation of [Results ➖ Expectations]. In an era of hyper-visibility, our expectations frequently outpace our achievements, leading to a sense of "moving the goalposts." • The Lesson: Managing your expectations is just as important as managing your output. If you don't define what "enough" looks like, you’ll never actually reach it. Final Thought Same as Ever isn't a book about history; it’s a handbook for navigating the future by studying the permanent traits of humanity. If you want to build something that lasts, stop trying to outpace the news cycle and start investing in the behaviors that have stood the test of time. Have you read it yet? Which of Housel’s "permanent truths" resonated most with your professional journey? #BookReview #SameAsEver #Strategy #GrowthMindset #Leadership #MorganHousel #SwapnillNavage

Apr 2026In 10 years of managing supply chains across Infrastructure, Mining, and Telecom — I've seen one thing make or break vendor relationships: Paying on time. It sounds basic. Right? But when vendors trust you, they prioritize your orders, offer better rates, and become true partners — not just suppliers. One principle I always apply: negotiate hard at the contract stage, then honour every commitment after. That approach helped my team achieve cost savings — not by squeezing vendors, but by building leverage through reliability. Curious — what's the biggest procurement challenge you're navigating right now? #Procurement #SupplyChain #VendorManagement #SAPMM #Logistics #Operations
Apr 2026That plastic bag you dropped on the road? It's already in your stomach. You just don't know it yet. Bengaluru street → storm drain → stormwater channel → river → sea. Once it hits the ocean, it doesn't vanish. It breaks into microplastics. Enters the food chain. Come back in the fish you eat. The water you drink. The air you breathe. We are literally eating our own ignorance. And we have been sitting with this with no clean answer. We keep telling people: Dispose responsibly. Segregate your waste. Say no to single-use plastic. All valid. All necessary. But here's what nobody is asking loudly enough: Why is the entire burden on the citizen — when the plastic was manufactured, packaged, and sold without a single viable end-of-life plan? We've watched this damage build for decades. And the response has been — awareness campaigns. India generates 3.5 million tons of plastic waste every year. A significant chunk? FMCG packaging. Same companies. Same packaging. Fresh ESG slide deck every quarter. Accountability isn't a press release. It's what's on the shelf. Governments announced plastic bans. Implementation — selective. EPR rules exist. Enforcement — optional. Alternatives are available. Adoption — voluntary. Voluntary does not work at planetary scale. The science is not new. The damage is not invisible. The alternatives exist. What's missing is speed. And will. Every year of delay is millions of tones added to rivers, oceans, ecosystems that took millennia to build. We cannot afford more awareness campaigns. We need mandatory alternatives. Real timelines. Corporate accountability that hurts when ignored. Government policy with actual teeth. Before "too late" stops being a warning and becomes a headline. So tell me honestly Are Governments and Corporations moving fast enough? Or is policy still serving politics and packaging still serving profit? Drop your answer below. I want to hear what you're seeing on the ground. 👇 #SundaySustainabilityStories
Apr 2026Your vendor delivered. Invoice paid. Repeat. That's not procurement — that's a purchase order on autopilot. In infrastructure markets — where project timelines are tight, material lead times are long, and one supply failure can stall an entire site — that mindset is expensive. Here's what actually separates reactive procurement from strategic procurement in the infra space: 𝟭. 𝗩𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗿𝘀 — they're risk carriers. A vendor who delivers on time 90% of the time sounds good. Until that 10% hits during peak project execution. Scoring vendors on delivery consistency, not just price, changes who you rely on. 𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱. Walking into a supplier meeting and asking for a lower price gets you resistance. Walking in with consolidated spend data, volume commitments, and a preferred-vendor roadmap gets you partnership — and better rates. 𝟯. 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿. In infra procurement, overstocking ties up working capital. Understocking stops work. ABC classification + reorder-point logic isn't glamorous — but it's the difference between a smooth site and a panicked phone call at midnight. 𝟰. 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆. Procurement that sits in a silo will always be chasing requisitions. Procurement embedded in project planning shapes timelines, flags risks early, and keeps budgets intact. The infra market doesn't forgive slow procurement decisions. But it rewards teams that build systems instead of firefighting. Which of these do you think is most overlooked in your organisation — vendor scoring, data-led negotiation, inventory discipline, or cross-team alignment? #Procurement #SupplyChain #InfrastructureManagement #VendorManagement #StrategicSourcing #SCMLeadership #ProcurementTips #InventoryManagement #SupplierRelationships #ProcurementCommunity
Apr 2026Cities don’t survive on concrete. They survive on water. Bengaluru was once called the City of Lakes. From ~1,500+ lakes a century ago, we are left with ~200–300 today, many polluted, encroached, or slowly dying. 🚨 90% of Bengaluru’s lakes receive untreated sewage. 🚨 98% face encroachment threats. This didn’t happen overnight. And it won’t fix itself. Yet, hope exists. Across Bengaluru, citizen movements have revived dying lakes, when systems failed, communities stepped in. Toxic water turned into living ecosystems. Proof that people power works. Why lakes matter for cities: ✅ Recharge groundwater (our real water security) ✅ Reduce flooding & urban heat ✅ Support biodiversity & public health ✅ Protect water for future generations A hard truth for citizens: • If you don’t support lake groups & clean up drives now, don’t ask where water went tomorrow. • Say NO to sewage discharge and encroachment from your apartment, your house, your street. • Demand accountability, not just development announcements. Saving lakes is not environmental activism. It is urban survival. If we don’t act now, the next generation will only see lakes in history books. 👉 Protect your nearest lake. It protects you back.
