Context is king. And not just in AI. The best decisions, whether made by people or AI, rely on having the right context. That’s one of the reasons I love Insight Partners ' CEO Mindset events. They create space for founders and CEOs to step out of the day-to-day and compare notes with others navigating similar challenges. In periods of rapid change, that kind of peer context becomes incredibly valuable. Added to this is the context we bring as Insight from seeing patterns and trends across the broader portfolio and market. Next week we’ll be in Beverly Hills with 100+ early and growth-stage CEOs from across the Insight portfolio. Some topics on the agenda include where AI and software are heading, how companies are pressure-testing strategy in this environment, and how org design and hiring are evolving in the age of AI. We'll have some amazing speakers from Insight, the portfolio, and across the broader tech ecosystem. Not to mention some fun activities along the way :) My favorite part though is always the side conversations. The unexpected connection. The “we’re seeing the same thing.” The unlock to a problem that's been stewing for months. Creating those conversations and connecting people who should know each other, in real-time and in-person, is where a lot of the magic happens. Looking forward spending time learning, reconnecting, and hopefully making a few meaningful introductions along the way!
May 2026Every great film has a moment where the lead character has to make a decision before they know how things will turn out. I call this "high uncertainty, low information", and we know our CEOs are feeling that every day. In 1 week at CEO Mindset in LA, the whole room will be working through five decisions that can't wait for perfect information: 1️⃣ What's your REAL defensibility - now that what got you here might not get you there? 2️⃣ How do you make the right strategic tradeoffs when the picture isn't complete? 3️⃣ How do you build the team for a destination you can't fully describe yet? 4️⃣ How do you drive the pace and culture of change? 5️⃣ How do you own the narrative - before the results prove you right? Excited to be with 100 of our Early and Growth stage CEOs to help make this movie! Insight Partners

Apr 2026Happy Professional Administration Day to the people who keep everything moving. Admin professionals are often the unseen force behind great teams and successful organizations—anticipating needs, solving problems before they surface, and bringing structure to the chaos. Their attention to detail, adaptability, and steady presence make an outsized impact every single day. They are the true connectors, the problem-solvers, and, quite honestly, the glue that holds everything together. And I am proud to say I have the best Admin Team at Insight Partners . Today is a chance to recognize and celebrate the incredible work they do all year long. Thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and the countless ways you make everyone around you more effective. #ProfessionalAdministrationDay #Gratitude #Teamwork #Leadership
Apr 2026I didn't expect the VC Platform Summit to hit the way it did. Maybe it's because a year ago, I was on the other side of the table. Running Talent Strategy and Programs at Insight Partners. Wrangling 80+ portcos. Sitting in vendor calls wishing someone would just build the thing I actually needed instead of pitching me the thing they had. I once spent four weeks evaluating 15+ vendors trying to solve one question: how do you actually activate an exclusive talent network across a portfolio? Nobody had a clean answer. Because the problem was genuinely hard — and the impact only makes sense once you've felt it. The product-builder in me was so tempted to build it myself. And honestly? Part of me wishes I had tried. But I found something better — a team already deep in the problem, with the AI, data and conviction to actually solve it. Now I'm with that team, at Findem — building exactly that product for exactly this audience. The role swap still catches me off guard sometimes. What made the Summit different wasn't the agenda. It was the room. 200+ VC operators actually sharing the messy stuff — the gaps, the frustrations, but also what they're trying, what's working, what they're building toward. That kind of openness is rare. You don't get it at every conference. Every problem someone raised — I didn't learn about it from a customer interview. I lived it. That's a different kind of context. And I don't take it for granted. It's also what keeps me honest about where we're building versus where we still need to get. Big thanks to the team that put it together, and especially to the people who jumped on a boat with us on Thursday after the Summit. That's the kind of afternoon you keep coming back to. A special shoutout to Evan Walden and Maveric Ohm — Summit veterans who made it feel like my tenth time, not my first. The introductions, the context, the warmth. Couldn't have asked for better people to walk into that room with. If you're in VC Talent/Platform and want to compare notes, talk about how AI is changing the game for platform teams, or just debrief the Summit — DM me or drop a comment.
