Not everyday I get the chance to shake hands with someone that truly helped shape my career as a leader. Thanks Jeff Immelt !
May 2026I'm proud to have completed the Leadership Development Program in Manufacturing Certificate through the University of Michigan Emeritus Program!
May 2026📊𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝟯 𝗔𝗠 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲. For the past 8 weeks we talked about KPIs, daily rituals, visual boards, shift handovers, and the conversations most leaders avoid. Here are 5 leadership lessons the factory floor taught me that apply to every industry, every team, and every challenge: 1️⃣Clarity beats intelligence — every time ↳ On the floor, a clear instruction saves hours. A vague one costs a shift. ↳ The smartest leader in the room is rarely the most effective one. ↳ The clearest one always is. ↳ In any industry: your team does not need you to have all the answers — they need to know exactly what to do next. 2️⃣The problem is never where it first appears ↳ A quality defect on the line is never a quality problem — it is a process problem upstream. Manufacturing taught me to walk past the symptom. ↳ In any industry: the employee who is disengaged, the project that keeps missing deadlines, the customer who keeps complaining — look upstream, not at the surface. 3️⃣Respect for the person doing the work is non-negotiable ↳ I have never met an operator who did not know more about their machine than I did. ↳ In any industry: the people doing the job daily hold knowledge no dashboard will ever capture — your job is to ask, listen, and act on what they tell you. 4️⃣Consistency is a leadership superpower ↳ A plant that runs well does not run on genius — it runs on standards applied the same way every shift, every day, every year. Good decisions are made consistently. ↳ In any industry: the leaders who show up the same way whether things are going well or falling apart are the ones people follow without being asked. 5️⃣Speed without direction is just expensive chaos ↳ I have watched plants move fast in every direction and go nowhere. ↳ Manufacturing taught me that pace only creates value when it is aligned to a clear priority. ↳ In any industry: before you ask your team to move faster, make sure every person knows exactly what they are moving toward — and why it matters. - - - 💡The factory floor is one of the most honest leadership environments on earth. There is no hiding behind presentations or politics. Either the line is running or it is not. Either the team trusts you or they do not. Either you lead or you don't. That clarity — uncomfortable as it can be — is the greatest leadership school I have ever attended. And everything it taught me, I have seen work again in logistics, healthcare, technology, finance, and beyond. 👉 What is the most important leadership lesson your industry or environment has taught you? ♻️ Repost this for every leader who believes great leadership has no industry boundaries. #ManufacturingLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #TransferableSkills #OperationalExcellence #LeadershipLessons #PeopleFirst #ManagementSkills #LeanLeadership
May 2026⚡ Confidence before production is leverage. It changes how you move. 🚀 Move faster 💰 Spend smarter 😴 Sleep better Because uncertainty is expensive. It creates: ⏳ Delays 🔁 Rework 💸 Waste ⚠️ Last-minute surprises Confidence removes friction. That’s the real value. Apr 2026⚠️ Analysis isn’t about proving it works. It’s about finding where it doesn’t. That’s the difference. Because real failures hide in places like: 🔩 Stress concentrations 🔁 Fatigue zones 🌡️ Thermal distortion 📐 Weak load paths A design can look good on screen… and still fail in the real world. The goal isn’t validation. It’s insight. Before problems reach production: 📂 Upload your CAD 📊 We find where it breaks down ✅ Fix issues before they get expensive 👉 https://lnkd.in/esYp5SdT
Apr 2026I’m hiring a Senior Manager IT Infrastructure Integer is a fantastic company to work for and an awesome opportunity. https://lnkd.in/gg7n7YqK
Apr 2026🎢 Disney built a moving Yeti… then had to turn it off. The movement created loads the structure couldn’t handle. So the Yeti was shut down. Guests paid for the full experience… and didn’t get it. ⚠️ That’s how design problems show up in the real world. Not as drawings. As customer disappointment. Don’t make the same mistake— find the problem before your customer does. 📂 Upload your CAD 📊 We analyze real-world behavior ✅ Find issues before they’re locked in 👉 https://lnkd.in/esYp5SdT
Apr 2026With Integer’s recent acquisitions of Precision Coating, Biocoat, and VSI Parylene, in addition to our existing coating technologies, Integer Medical Coatings offers one of the broadest medical coating portfolios in the interventional CDMO space. Combined with our deep understanding of how coatings impact device performance, and a vertically integrated supply chain spanning mandrels, guidewires, and catheters, Integer is an ideal partner for your next development. I spoke to Sean Fenske about the importance of manufacturability as part of design considerations.
