View source postLast week in Phoenix, I saw a self-driving car for the first time. It sparked good conversation - and a tie to Community. While some people said they didn't trust the technology and would let others experiment with the Waymo first, another (rather convincing) person brought up a unique perspective. Self-driving cars are great for introverts. It clicked. Of course! When you get into an Uber or Lyft, there's an unwritten pressure to (at a minimum) greet your driver. The rest of the conversation (or lack there of) is up to you. In a driverless car, those decisions are obsolete. Spoiler alert...the future of Community is the same. As Community continues to evolve, it doesn't include just an online forum. Nor is it having a robust User Group Program. And yup, a stand-alone Customer Advocacy program won't do it either. Just like people want options with their mode of transportation - they want a variety of ways to engage with your organization and the broader community. If you're not thinking of Community as more than an online space for customers to gather - you're not yet embracing all that Community is (and NEEDS to be to survive over the long haul). So start building your Community menu. And as you pick out the dishes, consider those who don't mind a communal appetizer, as well as those who despise a shared plate. 😉 Side note: If you're ever in Phoenix, eat at Fry Bread. You won't be disappointed. #community #customeradvocacy

May 2026I believe in my bones that creating meaningful ways for customers to connect is at the heart of any successful Community. Insert Devin Reed . We recently invited Devin to lead a session for our community, Jamf Nation. Aptly titled, "How to Build Your LinkedIn Presence Without Feeling Cringe," it was part of our professional development series - an offering we launched earlier this year to help our community members find more personal success. People loved it. There was laughter, a lot of comments in the chat and emojis. So many emojis. But the session itself wasn't the magic (at least not all of it.) Since Devin's presentation, a couple things happened. 1. Attendees started sharing the updates they made to their LI profiles with each other. 2. They're suggesting ways to improve their profiles (e.g. upload a link to any previous #jnuc presentations) And the big one... Yesterday, someone wrote the post below in our community. (I removed identifying information, but if the person who posted this genius idea wants to take credit, go ahead and pat yourself on the back in a comment!) 👏 Community is about giving people the opportunity to connect in meaningful ways. It's about creating strategic ways to give customers and partners value. Do it well and you'll facilitate friendships between your members. Your community will be so strong that it'll attract new business while giving existing customers a million reasons never to leave for a competitor (ahem, decrease in churn). Plain and simple, a strong community is a huge asset to any organization. Thanks for inspiring our members, Devin. And as always, thanks to the Jamf Heroes who continue to lead such dynamic conversations in Jamf Nation. #community #customeradvocacy
May 2026Great day representing Climb Channel Solutions NA at CDW Canada ’s famous BTEX Toronto! From the arcade style energy and creative vendor booths to the nonstop conversations around AI, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure, the event delivered on every level. 🕹️ Always great connecting with so many of our vendors, supporting their presence, discussing growth opportunities, and helping expand their reach across the Canadian market. 🇨🇦 Events like BTEX are a reminder that the channel is still very much a relationship business and when great vendors, partners, and customers come together, everybody wins. 🎮🚀 Big thanks to the incredible CDW Canada marketing team for putting together another fantastic event. 👏🏼 TrendAI Sophos Halcyon Cato Networks Darktrace Freshworks WatchGuard Technologies Jamf Puyi Wong Lawrence C. May 2026Getting devices into students' hands was just the beginning. The real question isn't how many devices are deployed, it's what students are actually able to do with them. In education, access gets students through the door. But identity, security, and a purposefully designed device experience determine what happens next. Jamf 's blog explores why Apple device management has evolved and what a truly complete approach looks like when identity, security, and device management work together as one.
