One of the things I love most about product leadership is when innovation starts moving across boundaries. Anders Bohlin and I continuously work across product boundaries between Ops Control and Crew Tracking at Jeppesen ForeFlight. Because both solutions are built on the same platform, this has become much more than integration. It has become a way of working. Ideas developed in one product often inspire capabilities in the other. We continuously learn from each other, reuse what works, and challenge each other to think bigger. And recently, one example stood out. A capability originally developed in Ops Control was introduced into Crew Tracking. This time, if I’m honest, we weren’t entirely sure how strong the Crew Tracking use case would be. But we decided to put it in front of customers anyway. Shortly after, one of our airline customers started testing it… and the feedback was immediate: they absolutely love it. That’s the power of shared platforms. That’s the power of teams that trust each other enough to build beyond their own product boundaries. Over the last weeks, Ajit R. and I have had the opportunity to demo this integrated vision to airlines in Rio de Janeiro and Panama—and the customer response has been incredibly energizing. I’m more convinced than ever: The future of airline operations is not separate systems. It’s connected workflows. Shared intelligence. And product teams bold enough to build across boundaries. #JeppesenForeFlight #ProductLeadership #OpsControl #CrewTracking #AirlineOperations
