I showed up a spectator and ended up a participant! Kastle Systems sponsored the raffle for today’s pickleball event with CoreNet Global . I planned to be a spectator but I was asked to join a team- that’s how welcoming this group was! It was cool to see the different levels of players and I am motivated to get out there and try this again. So glad I got to play and make some new connections. I look forward to participating again! Jennifer A. Ramirez lets practice 😉
May 2026Multifamily is doomed Okay. Breathe. Now let's talk about how we got here — and how we get out. The underwriting from 3-6 years ago was the most unrealistic I've seen in 20 years in this industry. Rent growth projections that were never going to happen. Expenses modeled flat — while reality sent them straight up. The gap between pro forma and actual is where affordability went to die. Now operators are staring at two options: keep squeezing residents on rent, or actually do something about the expense side. One of those is a race to the bottom. The other is a competitive advantage. The operators who figure out how to genuinely restructure labor costs — not nibble at them, not shuffle them around — they're going to win. Full stop. That's the mission our multifamily product team at Kastle Systems walks in with every single day. We already have one answer in market and at scale — Kastle Video Guarding. Remote monitoring that replaces on-site security labor. Real dollars out of the operating budget. And we're just getting started. Leasing. Concierge. Two of the heaviest labor lines on any multifamily P&L. That's where we're building next. So here's what I want to know from the operators and proptech folks in my network: What are you already doing to meaningfully reduce labor costs at your properties? What's the solution you haven't found yet but would change everything if it existed? Drop it below. Our product team isn't just watching — they're taking notes. #Multifamily #NOI #AssetManagement #PropertyManagement #Proptech #KastleSystems
