The Angle team spent this week in Napa. Visiting Silver Oak. Onboarding Cuvaison. Running innovation sessions and collecting boots on the ground feedback from customer experience teams to craft what the next generation of experiential loyalty actually looks like. Wine country gets something most retailers are still figuring out: loyalty isn’t a points balance. It’s a feeling. It’s the moment a guest walks into a tasting room and the experience already knows them. Their history, their preferences, their place in the relationship. We’re building the connective tissue between those moments. Digital and physical, stitched together through Apple and Google Wallet passes, store credit, and surfaces that show up exactly when and where they matter. Wineries have been doing high touch retention for decades. They invented the playbook. What they haven’t had is infrastructure built by people who’ve spent their careers scaling retail brands. That’s what John Evons and I bring. Three decades between us building and growing some of the most recognizable names in outdoor, apparel, and footwear. We didn’t come from wine. We came from retail. And that outside perspective is exactly what unlocks something new. The flywheel runs both ways. We take premium retail mechanics and access innovation into wine country. Partners like Silver Oak and Cuvaison push those ideas further than any retail environment would allow. Then we take those expanded, high-touch concepts back to our retail partners and raise the bar in store. Now, we are jumping on a plane to hit South Congress in Austin, Texas to share our insights and pitch several new concepts to our retail partners. ✌️ ✈️ to be continued…

The reaction to the launch of Product & Presence Solutions has been overwhelming. A sincere thank you. I can’t wait to get started. I’ve shared where I’m going, but it feels just as important to share why. I was an incredibly shy, quiet, awkward kid. Once a year, we had public speaking competitions at school, and it was the one place where a completely different version of me showed up. Confident. Outgoing. Comfortable taking up space. A switch flipped somewhere along the way. Making someone in the audience smile, laugh, or feel engaged made the experience less about me and more about them. Most people fear public speaking. They fear the judgment, how they look, the tone of their voice, saying the wrong thing. Truthfully, I don’t think that feeling ever fully goes away. But if you can’t communicate your value, your ideas, or the story you’re trying to tell, nobody is going to do it for you. Public speaking became one of the biggest unlocks in my career trajectory, and ultimately the inspiration behind the Presence pillar of my business. These skills do far more than sharpen a presentation. They change how you are perceived, and more importantly, how you perceive yourself. Nobody hands you a microphone by accident. When it’s your turn, take it and run. #ProductAndPresence #CommunicationSkills #ExecutivePresence #PublicSpeaking #WomeninLeadership

Last week, we celebrated the launch of the KEEN x 18 East Jasper Zionic collab, and the response so far has been overwhelmingly positive. Gear Patrol is calling this take on the sneaker our best yet, and fans across social are labeling it a “legendary collab.” Always a good sign when the internet agrees. Even better, I got to experience it firsthand IRL at our launch party at the 18East storefront in NYC—meeting the team in person and hearing real, unfiltered reactions from fans discovering (or rediscovering) KEEN on the spot was the best part. The pizza was good, too. Proud of what the team brought to life here, and feeling energized for what’s ahead. See you next time, NYC! Also shoutout to 18East for the awesome campaign creative. Real Goats Know. See it for yourself👇 https://lnkd.in/gK8Z84-n
