May 2026therapy revelation: I just realised no matter what happens in life, I will find ways to be whimsy and nobody/nothing can stop it. I'll throw myself into art I'll taste the rainbow I'll surround myself with so much beauty I'll test my levels of conditioning I'll not hesitate to call out on my BS aaalso I'll defy I'll cry I'll plan I'll crash out but I WILL EVENTUALLY LAUGH ABOUT ANY TRAGEDY AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT BWAHAHA low-key a super power, eh 🤷🏽♀️ #life

May 2026Okay, so last Saturday my friend Vedant Rajput & I ended up at The Ordinary's pop-up in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris and honestly? I wasn't ready for it. I walked in expecting a cute brand moment. What I got instead was a full-on wake-up call about the skincare industry, served with zero apology and zero fluff. Here's what they did that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. They had fruits, vegetables, and a few natural ingredients displayed with premium price tags on them. The whole point? To show you that the exact same ingredient sitting in a luxury skincare product is… just that. An ingredient. One you could find anywhere. The price tag you're paying? That's the marketing. The packaging. The celebrity face. Not the formula. And the best part, not a single product was for sale. Nothing. This wasn't a pop-up to move inventory. It was purely there to open your eyes. How often does a brand do that? Oh, and they handed out free lemonade. Simple, cold, unpretentious lemonade. Ordinary by every definition, which of course was entirely the point. 🍋 And a photobooth. Because why not let people have fun with the very thing the brand is calling out? You're literally posing next to overpriced ingredients and laughing about it. The message becomes a memory. And on your way out, a free tote bag with that same fruit and vegetable price label graphic printed on it, so you carry the conversation out into the city with you. No sales. No pushy moments. Just lemonade, a photobooth, a tote and a perspective shift. That's the whole experience. Takeaway 1 — Transparency is the new luxury. In a world where brands compete on mystique, The Ordinary doubled down on clarity. No smoke, no mirrors, just what's in the formula and why it works. Brand equity doesn't always come from exclusivity. Sometimes it comes from being the one brand brave enough to tell the truth. Takeaway 2 — Education builds deeper loyalty than marketing ever could. This wasn't a pop-up to sell you something. It was a pop-up to show you something. The difference is everything. When a brand chooses to inform over impress, it doesn't just earn a customer, it earns trust. And trust compounds. The pop-up closed on May 10th, so if you missed it, keep an eye on what they do next. It's rare to leave a brand experience thinking less about the brand and more about yourself. That's exactly what great marketing quietly does. Which brand do you think does this well, besides The Ordinary? Drop them below. I'd love to know who else is playing the long game. May 2026𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 Climb less. Choose more. Career growth has changed shape. Something I keep noticing. With AI doing more of the heavy lifting, people have stopped asking how to climb. They're asking why climb in the first place, if the scope is real, if they're actually learning, if the work lights them up enough to stay. Roopa Kudva put it well in TOI yesterday. Careers today are squiggly. So here's what I keep coming back to: • Vertical isn't dead. It's just not the only path. • The question isn't "where am I going?" It's "is this worth my time?" The workforce hasn't changed jobs. It's changed the question #FutureofWork #careergrowth
May 2026If 120 people attend your event and 75 download your playbook... What do you think it means? It means your thought leadership is doing exactly what it was meant to. 1) Adding real value to your readers (and a timely one at that) 2) Building trust before the pitch. Nobody downloads a 25-page playbook because they were guilt-tripped into it. 3) Creating demand that doesn't expire when the webinar does. We built the HR Continuity Playbook for people leaders navigating instability in the Middle East. As a genuine resource. The downloads were a byproduct of that intention. And i dont know about you... But that's the only content strategy worth having. Link in comments for the playbook... have a look. tell me what you think. :) #thoughtleadership #contentmarketing #hrbusinesscontinuity
May 2026#B2BSaaS problem discovery is broken Customers talk to support team or raise a ticket to request for features. Sales teams talk to prospects and ask for enhancements or new features that they feel will help them close deals Most of these requests don’t have enough context of what is the real problem, how big is the problem, how are they working despite the problem. They just describe what they want Product managers get on calls with the support or sales person to gather more context. But don’t get the answers Sometimes the SPOC also changes and doesn’t know the details Then they try to reach out to customers, struggle to get them on call Eventually make some assumptions or keep them on hold as quarter planning is due. The prioritisation is superficial, features requests pile up and eventually product team is labelled inefficient Does this sound familiar? The existing tools only optimise for ticketing workflow but don’t solve for “gather enough context white collecting problem” Do you agree? Please share how you are solving this problem at your workplaces #Problemsworthsolving #productmanagement

May 2026in Los Angeles, I saw Herbie Hancock live. at THE Walt Disney Concert hall 🎷 for context, Herbie was a member of the Miles Davis Quintet from the 60s (the golden age of jazz) infact, he became the protege for whom the master opened for, in the later years. 1 Academy + 14 Grammy Awards, (incl. lifetime achievement), yeah. at 86, he created and danced away with his American Jazz and sitting in that hall, I realised why music is a tool to understand life, for so many of us. by the end of his band's 2 hour performance (with piano, keys, trumpet, bass, guitar, drums), all of the audience in my wing started dancing too. octagenarians. kids. couples. solo attendees like me. just imagine the professional joy of making people dance with your excellence. imagine the play. the creativity. the energy. the reckless abandon of rules. the novelty to create those rules. goals, sigh, goals. somedays, I wake up and ask myself, what about an experience like this can I bring to work, and to my own life at large. short answer: be the glimmer ✨ long answer: live a life chasing glimmers. also, so many wonders like this. so little time on earth, so limited the money in wallet, bwah. #jazz #music
