There’s something incredibly powerful about seeing more than 150 L.A. Care colleagues come together on a Saturday morning, not because they were required to, but because they care about the communities we serve. That’s exactly what I witnessed this past weekend at WalkUnitedLA 2026 at SoFi Stadium – and it made me tremendously proud. At L.A. Care, our mission has always been about more than health care coverage. It’s about advancing health equity and creating healthier, stronger communities for more than one in four Angelenos. And our team understands that good health is connected to so much more – stable housing, quality education, economic opportunity, and the support people need to thrive. As a member of the Board of Directors for United Way of Greater Los Angeles , I’ve seen firsthand the impact this organization has across our county. That’s why events like WalkUnitedLA matter so much. Building a healthier Los Angeles requires all of us working together across sectors and alongside community partners who share that commitment. To every L.A. Care employee who showed up and walked this weekend: thank you. Your compassion, your generosity, and your commitment to our communities are what make L.A. Care so special.💙 📖 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/giwMVQrk #WalkUnitedLA #ElevatingHealthcare #LACare #UnitedWayLA #HealthEquity #LAStrong #ProudCEO
May 2026You can't protect what you can't classify. Yet most organizations have: • No clear data classification scheme • No inventory of sensitive data locations • No consistent protection standards • No accountability for data ownership Start with three questions: • What data would destroy us if it leaked? • Where is that data right now? • Who's responsible for protecting it? Then build controls around those answers. Protection without classification is just guessing. #DataClassification #DataProtection #InformationSecurity
