I’m sharing some bittersweet news today: Nicholas Pell has joined Blackstone as a senior managing director, where he will serve as CEO and president of Blackstone Digital Infrastructure Trust (BXDC), a newly formed public vehicle focused on mission-critical data center assets that IPO'd yesterday. This is a tremendous opportunity for Nick and a well-deserved one. We’re fortunate he’s staying within the Blackstone ecosystem and will have accesse to him to continue to advise on Link Logistics investment strategy. Nick is one of the most capable, thoughtful leaders I have had the privilege of working alongside. Since the early days of Link, he has helped shape our strategic approach, our culture and the high standards we hold ourselves to as a team. He has been a great partner, mentor and friend to not only myself but so many of my colleagues. Thank you, Nick, for everything you built here, and for the culture of partnership, conviction and accountability you leave behind. I can't wait to watch what you build next. May 2026Congratulations to Lisa Berton for winning the men's tournament bracket in this year's CoreGiving Bracket Battle—and to every Link Logistics team member who donated and participated. Our firm’s recognition as Impact Champion is a direct reflection of our people. They show up for their communities the same way they show up for our customers and each other, and that's something that continues to inspire me. This year, Bracket Battle raised over $175,000 to help provide more than 875,000 meals for children and families in need. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
Apr 2026One of the best parts of my job is getting to walk through our warehouses and see what our Link Logistics customers are doing inside them—constructing airplanes, printing candy wrappers, moving thousands of parcels a day. Every operation looks different, but the good ones all share something in common: a relentless focus on removing friction and getting better. Over the years I've realized those same principles apply to how you run a company, and they've shaped how I think about leadership. I wrote about five of them in a recent article for Inc. Magazine : 1) Put great people in the right seats, then get out of their way. 2) Design systems that scale and adapt, especially around data. 3) Measure what matters and foster a culture that keeps refining what you measure. 4) Build backup into your strategy through deep benches, cross-trained talent and strong external relationships. 5) Trust the floor; the people closest to the work usually see the problems and solutions first. These ideas came from spending time with customers and teams across our portfolio at Link Logistics, watching how they operate and applying those lessons to how we build our own organization. Curious what others have learned from the operational side of their business. Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gWUqfydk
Apr 2026What I appreciate most about this Inc. Magazine piece from our CEO Luke Petherbridge is that these aren't abstract leadership principles—they're things I see play out across our organization and Corporate Communications team at Link Logistics every day. Especially "trust the floor." The best work our team does starts with people closest to the projects feeling empowered to take ownership. Worth a read for anyone thinking about how operational discipline translates into how you build and lead teams: https://lnkd.in/gNMkxMQu
