A genuine thank you to the team behind All-Energy 2026 in Glasgow. 🏴⚡ What a brilliantly organised event — and a powerful reminder of why face-to-face conversations still matter in our industry. Over two days, I had the privilege of meeting suppliers, contractors, clients and peers from across the energy ecosystem. The kind of conversations that move projects forward — about lead times, capability, sustainability commitments, and the real challenges of delivering the UK's energy transition — simply don't happen the same way over Teams. A few reflections from the floor: 🔹 The depth of innovation on display, particularly around HVO and hybrid power, low-carbon construction, and grid-scale storage, was genuinely impressive. 🔹 The supply chain conversations were the most valuable for me — building relationships today is what de-risks delivery tomorrow. 🔹 It was a real pleasure to put faces to names and to meet new partners who share our commitment to net zero and to building Britain's energy infrastructure. At Linxon — an ABB and AtkinsRéalis joint venture — we are proud to be a key delivery partner in the UK substation EPC market, working alongside National Grid, SSEN Transmission, SP Energy Networks and our trusted supply chain to deliver the transmission infrastructure this country needs. Events like All-Energy remind us that the energy transition is not a solo effort. It's built on partnerships — between EPCs, contractors, suppliers, clients, and the brilliant people behind each one of them. To the organisers, exhibitors, and everyone I had the pleasure of meeting — thank you. Looking forward to keeping the conversations going. #AllEnergy2026 #Linxon #EnergyTransition #Substations #NetZero #SupplyChain #UKEnergy #ABB #AtkinsRéalis
May 2026Next week, I’ll be at IEEE T&D in Chicago (May 4–7). Not to talk about technology for the sake of it, but to talk about delivery. Across grids, substations, extra high voltage, renewables and complex energy systems, I see the same challenge again and again: projects don’t fail because of engineering; they struggle because of preparation, interfaces, and execution discipline. At Linxon, we’re working hard on that: clear delivery models, better upfront preparation supported by AI, and strong training so teams don’t start from zero each time. If that resonates with you, I’d be glad to exchange views. You’ll find me at Booth 4243. #IEEETD2026 #LinxonAmericas #EngineeringForAMission
Apr 2026I’ll be at IEEE T&D this year, and I’m looking forward to real conversations. Energy infrastructure projects are getting bigger, faster, and more interconnected. But many teams are still forced to reinvent how they deliver, project after project. What excites me at Linxon is how we’re addressing it, with clear delivery models, AI-supported EPC preparation, and training that turns experience into something repeatable. If you’re facing execution challenges across substations, grid projects, or complex EPC scopes, let’s talk at IEEE T&D, May 4–7. I’ll be around Booth 4243. #IEEETD2026 #LinxonAmericas #EngineeringForAMission
In EPC delivery, trust is built on predictability—not promises. Most project challenges start long before site execution. Early risk visibility, clear scope, and strong alignment between commitment and delivery make the difference. LINK is our ultimate tool to embed execution intelligence where it matters most. In critical infrastructure, predictability is the foundation of trust. #EPC #ProjectDelivery #Predictability #ExecutionExcellence #EngineeredForMission #Linxon #LINK
Apr 2026When I see the results of LINK, I’m proud of what we have accomplished. I don’t see a platform. I see years of hard lessons; some expensive, some uncomfortable; finally turned into something scalable. In EPC, we often treat problems as if they start on site. They don’t. They start much earlier, when scope is not mature enough, when interfaces are fragile, or when risks are known but not surfaced with enough clarity or urgency. We pushed for LINK because we believe we owe our customers, and our own teams, something better than late heroics. LINK exists to force the right conversations earlier. To make preparation non‑optional. To ensure that what we commit to is something we can truly deliver, repeatedly, across regions, projects, and teams. This wasn’t about building another tool. It was about building discipline at scale, and giving our engineers and project leaders the support they deserve when decisions actually matter. As Linxon grows into a mission‑driven EPC, predictability becomes a service in itself. LINK is how we make that service real. Proud of the teams behind this, and proud of the direction we’re taking. #Linxon #LINK #MissionDrivenEPC #PredictableDelivery #CriticalInfrastructure #EngineeringExcellence #PrideInService #CustomerFirst #HitachiEnergy #AtkinsRealis #EPCTransformation #ScalableExecution
