View source postCongratulations to Moneybox on completing its first transaction through the London Stock Exchange's Private Securities Market. Just as small, regular investments can compound into something significant over time, so too can the contribution of employees who spend years building a business. This transaction gives long-serving employees and early shareholders the opportunity to share in the value that they have helped to create while allowing Moneybox to remain firmly focused on its long-term growth ambitions. A flagship example of what is possible in the UK private markets. Congratulations to the entire Moneybox team on this important milestone! View source postLondon Stock Exchange... they are doing a lot with AI in the investment space in the many areas
View source postOne of the things I love most about markets is that they are, rightly, constantly evolving. The needs of investors change. The needs of issuers change. Technology advances. Markets become more connected and increasingly global. Today, we are announcing plans to launch London Stock Exchange 24 (LSE 24), a new 24/5 trading venue designed to support the next generation of digital, algorithmic and agentic trading. As one of the world's most international exchanges, we believe access to London's markets should reflect the increasingly global nature of investing. LSE 24 is designed to give market participants greater flexibility to respond to market events, access liquidity and manage risk across time zones, while maintaining the resilience, transparency and trust that underpin regulated markets. LSE 24 is about more than extending the trading day. It is an important step towards a future where trusted market infrastructure and next-generation digital capabilities work seamlessly together. Jul 2026Congratulations to Wayve on completing its $85 million employee tender offer through the London Stock Exchange's Private Securities Market. As a pioneer in embodied AI for autonomous driving, Wayve has provided liquidity to those current employees with vested equity to realise value through a permissioned auction - which makes them a pioneer in the Private Securities Market too. I often say that it takes a village and this could not be a better example. Bringing a transaction like this to life requires collaboration across founders, employees, investors, advisers and market operators, all working towards a shared outcome. With deep gratitude to everyone involved in making this happen, including those who brought the PISCES regulation to life, and to the teams who continue to innovate in creating more opportunities for companies, investors and employees as they grow. Congratulations to the entire Wayve team on this important milestone. Read more here: https://lseg.group/4woXS7E
Jul 2026Private and public markets are not competing destinations. They are part of the same funding continuum. As private markets continue to grow, we need to think carefully about how access, transparency and liquidity will evolve. If you want to know how the Private Securities Market is helping to address private companies' liquidity needs and what opportunities this creates for global investors, I hope you will join us at our inaugural Private Securities Market Forum on 14 July at the London Stock Exchange. We are delighted to be joined by a fantastic group of speakers spanning investors, advisers, platforms and policymakers, including Fred Bouverat (TPE), Kendall Burnett (Latham & Watkins), James Deal (RetailBook), Janine Hirt (Innovate Finance), Karen Kerrigan (Moneybox), Laura Klaassen (Rothschild & Co), Eli Krieger (Lansdowne Partners), Charlotte Lawrence (British Business Bank), Simon Olsen (Deloitte), Nick Perrett (Prosper), and Mark Tyler (Crowdcube). Jul 2026Ambition built this market. Now it defines the brand. “This is my AIM” is live. The refreshed brand for AIM, the growth market of the London Stock Exchange, celebrates the unique community of ambitious founders, entrepreneurs, investors and advisers from around the world that make AIM unique. Alongside the most significant proposed changes to the AIM Rulebook in two decades, this new look and feel reflects the strength of the community built around AIM, Europe’s most active growth and risk equity market. From now on, ambition gets to be more ambitious: https://lnkd.in/eVRVR6tT #AIM #Growth #CapitalMarkets #ThisIsMyAIM
Jun 2026It is always a pleasure to spend time with Dame Susan Langley - but to do so as part of #TeamUK celebrating the strengths of the UK’s financial and professional services sector and the strengths of the UK’s capital markets and the companies it supports specifically was an even greater pleasure. At the London Stock Exchange we have launched a campaign celebrating the great UK private and listed companies that use this City and our markets to achieve their goals and we are delighted to have sought to pick up from the Lady Mayor’s campaign 🤜🤛. Yes, we should be clear-eyed always about everything we can do to get better, but we should also not be shy about celebrating our strengths… … to do so, Sue is going to need some more columns!
