Not all heroes wear capes... meet Erin 🦸♀️ Erin is our HR People Partner at Phaidon, and over the last year she has been incredibly supportive - from training and coaching to helping guide us through some important moments as a business. In an organisation the size of Phaidon International , it’s easy for operational teams to sit in the background, but the reality is we simply couldn’t function without a strong, capable team making everything run smoothly behind the scenes. Erin thank you for everything you’ve done to support LVI Associates and the wider London business. It genuinely doesn’t go unnoticed 😁 🙏 #HR #Teamwork #Collaboration #Operations #NotAllHeroesWearCapes
May 2026BESS is an essential element of our energy system that has brought new innovative ideas to the market but this has yet to be adopted into how companies hire. Unrealistic expectations of available talent, misunderstanding the demand and outdated processes are some of the biggest challenges facing BESS companies wanting to grow but there are solutions. Please reach out to me here or at harry.morgan@lviassociates.com if you're open to discussing these in more detail.
May 2026🚧 Geotechnical Engineers: Are you actually growing, or just staying busy? It’s something I hear all the time when I speak with engineers. On paper, everything looks “fine.” Stable job. Solid projects. Good team. But when we dig a little deeper… there’s often something missing. If you’re, considering a move in 2026, here are a few questions worth asking yourself: 🔹 Are you getting the right balance of field vs. office work? Some engineers I speak to feel stuck doing too much fieldwork. Others feel disconnected from it entirely. The best roles tend to give you a mix, because that’s where real development happens. 🔹 Is your company genuinely supporting your PE/career progression? Not just “yeah, we’ll sign off your experience”, but actively mentoring you, exposing you to design work, client interaction, and helping you take that next step. 🔹 Are you working on projects that challenge you, or just repeating the same reports? Growth doesn’t come from doing the same phases over and over again. The strongest engineers are the ones getting exposure to more complex geotechnical challenges. Do you see a clear path forward where you are? Can you honestly picture where you’ll be in 2–3 years at your current company? If the answer is unclear… that’s usually a sign worth paying attention to. The reality is, most engineers don’t move because they hate their job. They move because they realize they’ve outgrown it. And often, they wish they’d explored their options sooner. I’m not saying you should start applying everywhere tomorrow. But if there’s even a small voice in your head saying “what else is out there?”… it might be worth listening to. No pressure. No hard sell.
