In the DMs. In the follow-ups most teams never send. Manychat is the platform behind conversational growth. Public speaking is... fun? wtf?? I would never have said that until just recently. I HATED speaking publicly. I was okay(ish) at it, but I wanted nothing to do with it. Avoiding it altogether felt more comfortable. Last week, I moderated a panel on the main stage at CreatorCon in Cincinnati. I interviewed three amazing creators about the unique parts of their journeys, how they incorporate family balance against 24/7 operations, and the unique monetization strategies they've explored. And it was FUN. Seriously, it was a blast!! I'm actively open to new opportunities to speak around my expertise: the creator economy, performance marketing, creative strategy, and content production. Psst - SXSW next year? Whatchu think? ↙️ 👀 I've spent 10+ years in the marketing ecosystem across brands of all shapes and sizes. Zappos , Sony Interactive Entertainment , (and now Manychat !) to name a few. DMs are always open 📥

We outsiiiiiide 🏖️ 🌊 🇫🇷 📫 This year at Cannes, Manychat is bringing back The Original DM: the postcard. 📍LIONS Creators Beach 🗓️June 22–26 A postcard activation where people can write messages and Manychat mails them out for real. You write it. We send it. Just like your DMs. This festival used to reward whoever had the biggest marketing budget. Now creators with phones, communities, and actual audience trust are some of the most important people there. The smartest brands know it, too (humble brag, but we know we have to be there! ) I'll be there documenting our event, interviewing creators, and having the occasional glass of vino after a long day. If you'll be at Cannes Lions this year, let me know in the comments below!

If you're planning on attending Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this year, start asking your friends, fam, and people you want to make jealous for their addresses now. Add em to a note on your phone titled "Manychat @ Cannes" and create a calendar reminder for June 22 - 26. In about a month, find the Manychat booth at Creators Beach and write a beautiful postcard for all those people in your notes list. We'll take care of sending it for you, but you'll need the addresses. Don't wait, get them now. It'll feel like a random lil surprise for the people you care about ❤️ If you're a marketer and/or work on creator partnerships, ask for Kimberlyn Kossovsky ! She'll have something cool for you. Matter of fact, add her name to that note you just created on your phone. K see you there!

If your content is getting comments like: “Link?” “how do I buy?” “can you send this?” …and your strategy is still “I’ll reply later,” fascinating. Tell me how that's working out! ANYWAY. Manychat is going to Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this year with a very dramatic little metaphor for messaging: postcards. Yes, at LIONS Creator Beach, people can write postcards in their own words, and Manychat will mail them for real! Which is basically what Manychat does online, too: Written by you. Delivered by Manychat. The Original DM. There’s something kind of funny about doing this at Cannes specifically, because this festival used to be about giant brands trying to own culture. Now the people shaping culture are creators with phones and audiences that actually trust them. Which feels like a pretty massive shift. 📍 LIONS Creators Beach 🗓️ June 22–26 Come by if you enjoy: *Internet culture *Analog chaos *Handwritten mail #CannesLions

Fara Rosenzweig, MA is an absolute pro and meeting her has had a remarkable impact on my career and life. She's a marketing genius, and her networking ability is insane. She's also the reason I've been at Manychat for almost 5 years. Without her taking a chance on me, I don't know if I would be where I am today. 💯 If you ever have the chance to work with Fara or even just hang out with her for an afternoon, I would jump at the opportunity! You'll walk away having learned a lot and knowing an incredible person. Mentors like Fara make the world go round! Thank you so much for the kind words Fara and for watching my video resume haha. It definitely wasn't a bad response to get on a Friday afternoon! 😁

Last week, Manychat and I had “the” talk. You know... “It’s not you, it’s us. But both of us. Mutually." We decided it was time for us to go our separate ways. No harm. No foul. No anger or negativity. Only love and visions of the future. For both of us. It was an amazing two years and lots of change. But after meeting with my CMO and doing some soul-searching, I made the difficult decision to pursue a new dream. Something not completely different, but more me. I've been copywriting off and on, mostly on, for almost 20 years. I've given a lot to this field, and it has fulfilled me in kind. But the work has always been for shareholders. For making people money. Which, don't get me wrong, I like making money. And I understand my role and expertise in that area. But I'm looking for something different. I want to make a difference. So I am looking for roles in organizations that are working for the betterment of society, humanity, nature — a place I can build a legacy that's more than "that campaign made us $2.7M" (I've done this). With extensive experience in start-up environments, I think small to go big. So, I guess the next step is I need your help. If you've enjoyed my posts, professional and otherwise, do me a solid and keep an eye out. And give me a holler if you see something open up that you think I could find success in. Somewhere, I can do more than make money; I can make a positive change. #copywriter #adcopy #creative #jobhelp
