Had an incredible opportunity to participate as a panelist on “Bridging Generations” at the Canadian Credit Union Association National Conference alongside Glenn Bolger , Sunaina Sharma , and moderated by my friend and National Young Leaders Committee colleague Theresa Smith . What made this conversation so impactful was the openness, collaboration, and yes… the occasional “spicy” banter. We explored how different generations approach leadership, risk, growth, communication, and decision-making across the credit union system — and how those differing perspectives actually strengthen our organizations when we lean into them. One consistent theme emerged throughout the discussion: there is immense value in creating space for both emerging and seasoned leaders to challenge and learn from one another’s thinking. Different career stages bring unique experiences, perspectives, ideologies, and thought processes — and when those voices come together, the depth of conversation, quality of decision-making, and strength of leadership grows exponentially. A huge thank you to Canadian Credit Union Association and Meridian Credit Union for the opportunity to be part of this discussion and for continuing to create meaningful dialogue across the system. Also incredibly proud of the work being done by the National Young Leaders Committee to advocate for emerging leaders to not only have a seat in the room, but to have the stage and the microphone to share our perspectives and have our voices heard. The future of the credit union system will be built through collaboration across generations — not in silos. #CCUA #CreditUnions #Leadership #BridgingGenerations #EmergingLeaders #NEXTGEN #Collaboration #NationalConference
May 2026Hi Everyone, During my journey as a Data Engineer & Analyst, I’ve realized that many people write SQL queries but don’t actually know the order in which SQL executes them. So, let’s understand SQL Query Execution in a simple way 😎 Suppose We have this Query: SELECT department, AVG(salary) AS avg_salary FROM Employees WHERE salary > 50000 GROUP BY department HAVING AVG(salary) > 60000 ORDER BY avg_salary DESC; Many assume SQL executes queries from top to bottom in the same order they are written: ❌ SELECT → FROM → WHERE → GROUP BY → HAVING → ORDER BY However, the actual execution order is: ✅ FROM → WHERE → GROUP BY → HAVING → SELECT → ORDER BY This understanding also explains why aliases created in the SELECT clause cannot be used inside the WHERE clause. In general, the logical execution order in SQL is: ✅ FROM → JOIN → WHERE → GROUP BY → HAVING → SELECT → DISTINCT → ORDER BY → LIMIT Understanding query execution order is extremely important for: • Writing optimized queries • Debugging SQL errors • Improving database performance • Building strong SQL fundamentals #SQL #DataEngineering #DataAnalytics #Database #Learning #Tech

Apr 2026Hot take: AI isn’t getting “smarter” as fast as it’s getting better at sounding smart. This example nails it. Clean reasoning, confident tone—and still wrong in a very obvious way. The risk isn’t bad answers. It’s believable ones. If you’re using AI in real workflows, the skill isn’t just prompting anymore—it’s knowing when NOT to trust the output.

Apr 2026I Quit My First Job in Just 365 Days - And Everyone Thought I Was Making a Mistake. Most people think quitting a good job in just one year is a mistake. Back in 2009, I landed a role as a Java Web Developer at Zoho . At that time, getting into Zoho was a dream for many fresh graduates. It meant stability. Respect. A secure future. My family felt proud. My friends believed I was settled. But within a year, I made a decision that shocked almost everyone around me. I quit. Not because the company was bad. Not because the work was hard. But because deep down, I knew I was living a safe life — not a meaningful one. Walking away from that job was not exciting. It was frightening. There were sleepless nights. Moments of self-doubt. Days when I questioned whether I had made the biggest mistake of my life. But those difficult years forced me to grow. I kept learning. I kept adapting. And I kept moving forward - even when the path was unclear. Slowly, my interest shifted toward understanding money, risk, and how financial decisions shape people’s futures. I studied. I trained. I stayed consistent when quitting would have been easier. Years later, that persistence led me to a milestone I once thought was impossible. I became a SEBI Registered Research Analyst, recognized under the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Board of India. Looking back, quitting my job at Zoho after just one year was not the end of stability. It was the beginning of responsibility. Sometimes, the hardest decision you make early in life becomes the reason you succeed later. Thank you for taking the time to read my journey. Apr 2026I haven't had a full night's sleep in 4 days. And I've never been more productive in my life. Here's my weird late-night coding ritual: → At 11 PM, I open my laptop. Write a detailed prompt for Claude / Copilot. Hit enter. Set a 30-minute alarm. Sleep. Wake up. Review the output. Fix. Refine. Next prompt. Sleep again. I repeat this 7–8 times a night. 4 hours of "work." Zero burnout. Right now I'm running 4 client contracts simultaneously at Booomit Tech All moving. All shipping. The old me thought productivity = more hours awake. The new me lets AI code while I recover. Then I show up sharp for every review. --- Here's the secret nobody tells you: A 30-min nap resets your brain better than 2 cups of coffee. I also take a 1-hour nap every afternoon. I used to think naps were lazy. Now I think sleep is the unfair advantage most founders ignore. --- I'm not working harder. I'm recovering faster and letting AI carry the load. → Prompt → Nap → Review → Repeat That's it. That's the whole system. 4 hours of night cycles. 1 hour afternoon nap. 4 contracts shipping. Sleep is the cheat code most founders delete first. Don't be that founder. Who else has a weird productivity ritual? Drop it below 👇 PS: Don't try this at home 😅 Only if you can handle a truly weird sleep schedule.
