Last weekend Matt and I set out on a bike ride from Amsterdam through the Dutch polders, headed to the tiny village of Marken. Before we even cleared the city, I stopped. On the side of the street sat a hippopotamus, carved entirely from a tree trunk. Massive. Unexpected. Completely magnificent. Someone had looked at what most people would see as a dead end - a stump, something past its usefulness - and found something alive inside it. I was enthralled by the beauty, the vision, and the creativity it took to see what others couldn't. Because that's the thing about slowing down. You start to see what you miss when you're moving too fast. I've been thinking about that hippo ever since I got home. In business, we spend so much time building, pushing, and executing that we rarely pause long enough to ask: what's already here that we haven't seen yet? The answers are almost always already in the room. Sometimes you just need a bike ride to find them. Life is good. #Leadership #LifeByDesign #Perspective #Amsterdam
May 2026I told myself I was done with certifications… but I’m really glad I made an exception for this one. A good reminder that there’s always something new to learn.
Apr 2026Japan, Beautiful Japan 🥰 🎎 🏯 🍙 Last week I had the opportunity to travel to Japan together with our CEO Robert Kudela and Petra Kudelova. The purpose of the visit was to attend the Honda 2026 Business Partner Meeting. At CHROPYNSKA Group , we truly value our relationship with Honda Motor, and it is always a privilege to be part of these events and continue strengthening our collaboration. The day before the meeting was also very special for me on a personal level. I had the chance to visit Honda in Tochigi again and reconnect with old colleagues and friends 😀 from my time at Honda Engineering Europe. It brought back many good memories. It was my first time in Japan in 7 years, and once again I was reminded what an incredible country it is, not only for its technology and industry, but especially for its people. A short trip, but very meaningful both professionally and personally.
Apr 2026This week we went on a launch tour—3 communities, 3 days, across 3 different states. At every stop, we met teams looking for new and creative ways to provide their residents with the best care and quality of life possible. And they see that being even more capable with a system like the Ambient Operating System—technology that, when done right, truly enables that mission. It was even better to see it fully operational in one of our flagship sites. Nothing beats seeing it in action and having real conversations about where we need to go next with the product… the fun stuff. And to top it off, I always love when a work trip brings me closer to places I love and family. So here’s where I get to spend my weekend ❤️ #ProductLaunch #InnovationInCare #SeniorLiving #HealthTech #StartupJourney
