This picture has been my reality for two years: babies and books. Yesterday, I graduated from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business MBA program with Distinction and three certificates: Finance, Financial Decision-Making, and Management. The process has been a masterclass in prioritization, collaboration, and high-level execution, and crossing the finish line makes every late night worth it. #ForeveraHawkeye
May 2026Mine started with work stress. There's a reason #Cerner employees taking anxiety meds could get their Rx for free... Then, I was pregnant (read: hormones, lack of sleep). We had moved into a new home, and I was unfamiliar with the area, the sounds, being in a standalone house instead of an apartment in a building. One night a picture frame fell, glass shattered, and it set off our alarm. I hid in the closet while the police checked everything out. (We didn't know it was the picture frame until after the police left) Sometimes it's a gradual process, and other times it's a traumatic event. Trauma comes in many forms, and each one is valid no matter how "big" or "small" they seem. Talk to a therapist. Use an online therapy platform. Inquire about medications. All this to say, I've since prioritized my mental health, and I'm proud that MERGE provides resources and encourages us to be our whole selves (anxiety, OCD, depression, and all) at work!
May 2026In this month of recognizing #WomensHealth , I can't help but imagine if we spent the same effort on women's health as we spent on #AI , what that future would look like and importantly, your reaction to this. In your gut, does that feel like the right thing to do? What are our success criteria? Are they the same or different from what success looks like with AI? Technical innovation ✅ Medical innovation ✅ Job creation ✅ Revenue generation ✅ Great for humanity ✅ What are we missing? What are the barriers to investing in women's health at the same level as AI? Is there a bad outcome? I can't think of one. I love the possibilities and see a future that we can't yet define but one that offers unlimited potential. #WomensHealth #AI #FemTech #VentureCapital #FutureOfHealthcare
May 2026This month I highlight a few favorites like Erin Corine Johnson , Innocence Project , and Aspen Ideas . You’ll find a framework from Lily Zheng and honesty from Ashani Mfuko (She/Her) . Sophie Grégoire Trudeau sheds light on how we can be there for each other. We’re in crisis. We need each other. Let’s be in this fight together. https://lnkd.in/gcmkpCxP
May 2026I love the perspective of viewing data as "nutrition"—AI can only reflect the quality of the ingredients we feed it. If the results feel skewed, it’s because the technology is surfacing systemic patterns that have long existed in the shadows. The real opportunity is the shift from passive observers to active architects. Rather than fearing what AI reveals, we can use this newfound visibility to intentionally tune our systems toward balance.
May 2026Miami, here we come! I am beyond excited to be heading down to Miami with the team for Possible. Join us in the FQ Lounge with The Female Quotient to catch our own Nicole Turner sharing her brilliant insights on how context-aware storytelling drives true connection and growth. The best part of these events is always the people. If you’re going to be in Miami, I’d love to grab a coffee, talk shop, or just say hello! Are you heading to Possible?
Apr 2026Personalization can be automated, but empathy requires intention. Most organizations believe in a false choice between scale and the human touch. We believe they must work together. By building the Whole Human Experience Orchestrator—part of our Humanity Suite—we design engagement based on a person’s specific context. As our CEO Stephanie Trunzo shares, this approach allows our experts to focus on imagination and innovation, while our engine manages the digital complexity. Apr 2026It’s kind of wild to sit in the exec forum audience at a Vegas tech conference keynote. Not on stage, not back stage, not prepping the content or demos. I’m here to listen. In a world where we have to adapt to a new pace of technology evolution, to ensure we honor and carve out space for creatives, the company that has been at the intersection of technology for creatives - Adobe - is in the perfect place to listen right now. Adobe’s CEO Shantanu Narayen is advocating the need for proprietary brand models, and discussing how the future of creativity and content is about becoming agent-ready. Empowering Everyone to Create 🎨 is a call to action I can get behind. MERGE #marketing #adobesummit2026 #adobesummit #martech #womenintech
Apr 2026The agency model has a dirty secret. 🤫🔥 The team that sells the work is almost never the team that does it. Clients buy confidence. 💼✨ They get a learning curve. 📉 And when results are slow, leadership blames the algorithm instead of the process. Every. Single. Time. 🙄 I've managed teams. I've inherited accounts mid-disaster. The pattern never changes: overpromise, understaff, scramble. 💀 Until agencies fix how they staff and transition accounts, churn isn't a problem. It's a built-in feature. 👋
