For me, this partnership between Replit + Mixpanel isn't just another integration — it symbolizes a paradigm shift that resolves a fundamental problem in how we build new things. In 2016 I wrote about "The Fundamental Tension in Product" (link in the comments): the best work happens when one mind holds the full context — product, customers, business — so when something changes, it ripples instantly across the whole system. But that context always fragments. It gets lost in translation between teams, tools, and handoffs. The build/measure/learn loop breaks. This integration gives a coding agent that full build/measure/learn context. In the demo below, I gave a Replit agent the full cycle — build an app, instrument Mixpanel analytics, analyze the data, identify growth opportunities, and write the PRD for what to build next. I think the implications for how we build products and find product-market fit are profound. https://lnkd.in/gADzePVw
May 2026This is a _big_ deal. Today we're launching Mixpanel AI ( https://mixpanel.com/ai ) - here is why this changes the game for how product teams make decisions. 👇 Most analytics AI gives you a chatbot on top of your data. You ask a question, you get an answer, you hope it's right. That's not intelligence - that's a search bar with better marketing. Mixpanel AI is fundamentally different. Three things working together: Mixpanel Agent is the center of it all. One experience across every product. Ask it anything in plain language - or don't ask at all. It monitors your key metrics continuously and comes to you when something needs attention. And here's the part that matters: it delegates tasks to specialized subagents. One agent that knows your full context, routing work to the right capability. Not five disconnected bots giving you five different answers from the same data. This is the right way to build AI on top of analytics. Intelligence that actually knows your business. Generic AI reads your data. It can't know your business. Context Engine fixes that - it learns your goals, your team structure, your product context. Verified Mode governs what AI can and can't query, so every answer is grounded in your approved data, not a model's best guess. This is the difference between an answer and a trusted answer. Mixpanel AI Everywhere. The same intelligence works in Claude, Cursor, Slack, Notion - wherever your team already lives. Product intelligence that travels with you, not intelligence that lives behind a login. The teams that win aren't the ones who ship the fastest. They're the ones who learn the fastest. Mixpanel AI is built to solve for that. https://mixpanel.com/ai
May 2026🎨 We're hiring a Senior Designer at Mixpanel — and this isn't a "make the asset to spec" role. We're in the middle of one of the most exciting moments in Mixpanel's history. We've evolved from a single product analytics tool into a true multi-product platform — and our visual identity needs to evolve with it. This role is for a Visual Designer who wants to help define what that looks like. You'd work side-by-side with our core brand team to push our visual language forward — concepting, illustrating, and building systems that scale across web, campaigns, events, product, and print. The work is conceptual: we deal in abstract ideas that don't have obvious visual solutions, so you'll spend real time making the intangible feel tangible. What sets this role apart: → You're shaping a brand at an inflection point — not maintaining one. The multi-product platform story is being told visually for the first time, and you have a real seat at the table → Creative latitude is the whole point — we want someone who stands out in a sea of generic SaaS, not someone chasing trends → Illustration is core craft, not a side skill — abstract product concepts need to be made visual, and we want a designer who genuinely loves that challenge We're looking for 5+ years in visual design (in-house or agency), strong fundamentals across typography, color, layout, and composition, and a portfolio that ranges across brand systems, campaigns, web, and print. Illustration sensibility is a must. Bonus points for motion, 3D, creative coding, or scaling your work with AI tools. If you love to explore, iterate, and craft work that doesn't look like everyone else's, let's talk. 👇 Reporting to Mike Casebolt https://lnkd.in/gdgj9yui
May 2026Most analytics run on someone remembering to check. Someone having time to dig. One of our customers caught monthly churn creeping to 16% at 5:30am - an agent, not a human. It cross-referenced support tickets, found the cause, and flagged it before anyone on the team was awake. That's what I'm putting in your hands at the Mixpanel Masters AI workshop at #MXP2026 in SF on May 12. Hands-on, real scenarios, live sandbox. Apr 2026Wedges get you in. Control points determine who wins. After wrapping up my time as CPO at Mixpanel, I’ve been reflecting on what actually drives durable growth across different stages—from initial product-market fit to multi-product and multi-BU scale. I’ve also been working with companies and investors on product, pricing, and GTM, and the same pattern keeps showing up: The difference between a successful product and an enduring growth engine isn’t features. It’s whether you shape the value chain to own a control point. In a world of AI-enabled development, wedges erode quickly. When anyone can ship a “great feature” in days, getting in the door isn’t enough. The harder discipline is earning control points—identifying them, testing them, and building toward positions the market depends on. I’ve started writing about this in a new Substack, Principles of Product & Strategy. https://lnkd.in/gkAKFDGf For those building products and companies—where do you see control points consolidating or shifting?
