Apr 2026Shoutout to last Friday's Fintech Cup 2026 at Trent Park Sports Centre! Whilst we couldn't quite reach the height's of last year's final, Modulr brought two extra teams across football & netball and rubbed shoulders with some fantastic & insightful fellow Fintech professionals. A really great experience as always and props to Duncan Scott & all those at Corporate 5s for organising once again. 🤝 What did it teach me? Blimey do I have some brilliant colleagues, a real team effort goes along way, and having the right allies alongside is so important to supporting you and pushing you to go further. Also, my ankle hurts, but that's more down to yours truly... Anyway, back to being The Payments Automation Platform. Payments built to scale and growing the efficiency of moving money whilst saving the time on manual workload. Apr 2026🏀What netball taught me about b2b sales... ... sike ! Swapped payment rails for the netball court on Friday with team Modulr at the Corporate 5s Cup ! Despite most of the team not knowing the rules until the morning of the tournament, we still made it to the semifinals! I got so into it I ended up playing a game for another team - which, in hindsight, probably explains why we didn't make it any further (don't tell our legal team, probably a conflict of interest). Also nice to pick up a prize for scoring a couple of goals! Looking forward to heading to Wembley for the Mavervicks vs Pulse game. My grandma thinks I'm a guest player, I haven't corrected her. Big thanks to Duncan Scott and the team for a fantastic day- 2027 cup practice is already in full swing!
