13 years ago, if you told me that my career journey would lead me here, I probably would not have believed you. I started out loving Software Engineering. Then I encountered data… and fell in love with it from the very first moment I understood what it was. That love changed the trajectory of my career. Before my corporate journey, I taught Mathematics, Science, and Computer Programming at different institutions. At the time, I did not know those experiences were preparing me for so much more. Because somewhere along the way, my career became more than data. I found myself teaching teens, mentoring younger data professionals, becoming a voiceover artist, giving succinct presentations, designing graphics, writing scripts, telling stories, becoming an author… and the list goes on. Funny enough, none of that was in the original plan. Yet, every season added something necessary. In these 13 years of professional life, I have experienced the curves and bends of work life: the wins, the uncertainty, the office politics (as they say 😅), the blessings of wise and strategic managers, work sponsors who opened doors, brilliant colleagues who sharpened me, and difficult moments that stretched me. Somewhere in all of this, I grew. In communication. In stakeholder management. In negotiation. In international team coordination. In handling difficult conversations. In leadership. The growth is evident. And in the latter part of my career journey, I found myself at Moove. A place that stretched me beyond my imagination. A place where I handled more than I thought I could. A place where I became. As I celebrate 5 years at Moove today, I celebrate not just the milestone but the journey. The highs and the lows. The failures and triumphs. The lessons, stretching, endurance, and growth. If there’s one thing I have learned, it is this: Professional growth rarely happens exactly the way we plan it. Sometimes, the places that stretch you the most are also the places that shape you the most. Still growing. Still becoming. Still moving. #CareerGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #Leadership #DataAnalytics #GrowthJourney #OneInsightMultipleImpacts
