Two things I learned in a week full of SAP conversations that surprised me 👀 1️⃣ There are still companies out there that haven't even started their ECC to S/4HANA migration. In 2026. With the 2027 deadline looming (yes, there's talk of an extension to 2030, but don't bet on it). 2️⃣ RAR (Revenue Accounting and Recognition) is quietly becoming one of the hardest skills to find. Everyone knows classic SD revenue recognition. Almost nobody has real IFRS 15/16 era RAR depth. And that gap is where revenue leakage happens. If you're one of the rare RAR fluent consultants, or your company is still on ECC and quietly panicking, I'd love to hear from you. #SAP #S4HANA #SAPSD #RAR #ERP

My team is looking for a strategic leader to own the design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise-wide sales, planning, and demand/supply solutions across SAP S/4HANA (SD & MM) and S&OP/IBP platforms. You'll be architecting solutions that connect order-to-cash execution with advanced planning to drive service levels, working capital, and smarter decision-making. What we need: ✅ 8+ years in SAP SD and S&OP/IBP solutions ✅ 2+ full-lifecycle SAP implementations (SD & IBP) ✅ Deep expertise in Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Credit ✅ Experience with SAP CPI-DS / Integration Suite ✅ Background in manufacturing or distribution environments If this sounds like you — or anybody in my network — I'd love to connect. Send me a message or share with someone who'd be a great fit! #SAP #S&OP #IBP #Hiring #SupplyChain #SAPSD

HI > AI. And this conversation proves it. 🧠 What happens when a fractional CTO with 30 years of C-suite experience steps into a project building a mind gym for the U.S. military using machine learning, EEG brain signals, and immersive LED environments? You get one of the most fascinating conversations we've had on Wake Up X Podcast. 🎙️ On this episode, we sat down with a serial entrepreneur and technology executive ( John Cuellar ) career spans biomedical engineering, IT, HR, and now neurotech wellness. He's the fractional CTO behind Lumina, a groundbreaking platform delivering immersive "infinity" experiences to members of the U.S. Air Force and Army designed to improve mental performance and productivity. 🪖 Here's how it works. You step into a large mirrored cube, surrounded by synchronized sound and LED light tracks that create the sensation of floating in space. Machine learning models analyze real-time EEG brain signals and heart data to build personalized training programs, helping military personnel feel better, focus sharper, and perform at a higher level. 🌌 And the technology is only expanding. More research. More commercial opportunities. The future of human performance is being built right now. 🚀 But what's just as compelling as the technology is the mindset behind it. This guest didn't set out to reach the C-suite. He fell into it, driven by an entrepreneurial instinct that kept putting him in front of businesses that needed to be run. Thirty years later, he's still going, still curious, and still saying yes to projects that push him somewhere completely new. 💡 His advice for anyone building their career in IT, cybersecurity, or entrepreneurship? Start with passion. Don't overextend before you're ready. And when an opportunity shows up that excites you, go for it. ✅ That's Human Intelligence at work. And no algorithm replaces it. 🔥 Special thanks for David De los Reyes for making this possible! 🎧 Full episode streaming now 📺 https://lnkd.in/d5WvDu79 🌐 www.wakeupxpodcast.com #WakeUpXPodcast #HumanIntelligence #MilitaryTech #Entrepreneurship #CybersecurityCareers

If you are still building a SaaS product in 2025, a serial entrepreneur with 30 years in tech has a message for you. 👀 "If you are doing that right now you have to check your sanity based on what is happening in AI. That is a mistake in my opinion." That is not someone being dramatic. That is John Cuellar Cuellar, CEO of Cascade Clarity AI and former SaaS founder who raised $130 million, speaking from hard-earned experience about where the market is heading right now. AI is putting pressure on every early and mid-stage SaaS company. The established incumbents have a defensible spot. Everyone else is feeling it whether they admit it or not. 📉 So what is actually working right now? John's answer is simple. Go deeper than the surface level AI tools everyone is using. His firm runs on an AI foundation across everything they build. And when it comes to what he actually trusts for enterprise software development he is a big fan of Claude Code. Solid infrastructure. Purpose-built for enterprise problems. Easy to use. And in a world where new AI tools are dropping every single week you do not need to know all of them. You just need to trust the right ones. 🔐 What we are seeing right now in software development is extraordinary. Code gets built faster. Roles are shifting. And the companies providing fractional CTO services to early-stage startups are using AI as the foundation of almost everything they build. The question is not whether AI is changing your industry. It already has. The question is whether you are paying attention fast enough. ⚡ I sat down with John Cuellar on the latest The Wake UP X Solutions episode and it is one you need to hear if you are building anything in tech right now. Special shoutout to David De los Reyes for making this interview possible. 🤝 Watch the full episode 👇 https://lnkd.in/ggbGRu4B More episodes: www.wakeupxpodcast.com 🌐 #WakeUpXPodcast #JohnCuellar #CascadeClarity #SaaS #AIAgents #ClaudeCode #ArtificialIntelligence #FractionalCTO #StartupLife #TechLeadership #Entrepreneurship

I’m truly honored to have these opportunities to learn more about the future of cybersecurity, HR, and business. One key takeaway is that CISOs and other C-level leaders must learn to manage AI agents and understand how they operate. As John Cuellar highlighted, while some roles may change, it doesn’t mean all will disappear. Even executives will need to develop a strong understanding of AI. Ultimately, the most important factor will always be HI—Human Intelligence. Thank you, John Cuellar Cuellar, for your valuable insights! I’m also looking forward to hearing David De los Reyes share his inspiring story. Full video: https://lnkd.in/giqzBRaf More episodes: www.wakeupxpodcast.com

"Trying is not failing. If you tried, you did not fail. Period." 💯 I sat down with John Cuellar , CEO of Cascade Clarity AI , serial entrepreneur, and one of the most well-rounded business minds I have ever interviewed, and this conversation hit different. 🎙️ Here is what stood out 👇 He built his first company from zero to $10 million with no outside capital. Later raised $130 million in a SaaS venture. Still made 10X more on the first one. The lesson,, you cannot go broke making a profit. 💰 He closed a business deal one month after September 11th 2001. The buyers were in New York when it happened. The deal still went through. Perspective changes everything. On AI agents and security, "The stories coming out from those deploying AI without enough emphasis on security are absolutely horrific." Even the biggest companies are making costly mistakes right now. ⚠️ On the future of leadership, Executives have always managed people. But if agents are doing the work of five people, who manages the agent? Nobody is talking about this yet. They need to. 🤖 And the line that ended everything, "HI will always be better than AI. Human intelligence. Never forget that." 🧠 Huge thank you to John Cuellar for bringing 30 years of wisdom to the The Wake UP X Solutions mic. Follow him and connect, you will not regret it. 🙏 Special shoutout to David De los Reyes for making this interview possible. We appreciate you more than words can say. 🤝 More episodes: www.wakeupxpodcast.com 🌐 Watch the full episode 👇 https://lnkd.in/ggbGRu4B #WakeUpXPodcast #JohnCuellar #CascadeClarity #Entrepreneurship #AIAgents #AISecurity #SerialEntrepreneur #BusinessGrowth

People see the outgoing guy with the microphone and think it has always been like that. 🎙️ It has not. The real story starts in West Sacramento in the 1990s. If you know what that neighborhood looked like back then you already understand. Gangs everywhere. Discouragement in school. No siblings. No close friends. Just a kid who was deeply isolated trying to figure out how to move forward with very little pointing him in the right direction. That kid was me. 👇 I was surrounded by people who most would write off as bad influences. And some of them were. But some of those same people, the ones the world had already counted out, were the ones pushing me toward something better. They would say "Hey you are smart. Go for computers. Go do something with that." And then they would tell me something I have never forgotten. "Don't worry about us. If we go to prison, if we go to jail, if we die, don't worry about us. You go your path. You finish your path." That hit different coming from people who knew exactly what their own paths looked like. 💯 That was my wake up moment. The moment I realized I needed to stop depending on my circumstances and start building something in spite of them. Little by little I started growing. The more I moved forward the more motivated I got. And eventually I knew I needed a name for what I was becoming and what I wanted to build for others. That is where The Wake UP X Solutions came from. Wake up because I needed to wake up from the reality I was in. And X because of Grant Cardone's 10X Rule, the book that taught me to take whatever goal I had and multiply it until it felt almost unrealistic. Then push toward it anyway. I took that so seriously I got it tattooed on my arm. 🔥 Whatever your goal is right now, 10X it. Make it bigger than you think you can handle. Then go find out what you are actually capable of. Because the version of you that needed to wake up is still in there. And so is the version that already did. 💪 More episodes: www.wakeupxpodcast.com 🌐 #WakeUpXPodcast #10XRule #GrantCardone #WestSacramento #OriginStory

Nobody handed me a roadmap. 🗺️ When I started in IT I was not in cybersecurity. I did not have a mentor sitting across from me explaining what hiring managers actually want or how to get in the room with the right people. I figured it out by showing up, volunteering for positions before anyone offered them, networking with executives one conversation at a time, and running a computer and cell phone repair business just to build something real from nothing. And it worked. That experience plus those connections plus that hustle is what landed me my positions in IT. But I kept thinking, if I had something like this when I was younger, the path would have looked completely different. I would have had the conversations earlier. I would have made the connections faster. I might have been a CISO already. 🎯 That thought became The Wake UP X Solutions Wake Up X is a cybersecurity podcast built specifically to bridge the gap between entry level professionals and the CISOs, CTOs, and executives shaping the industry. The conversations I had to chase down on my own, packaged and accessible for anyone willing to show up and grow. I bring together the people at the top and the people just getting started and I put them in the same room. Because that connection, that bridge, is what changes careers. I started with a business. I grew through volunteering. I leveled up through networking. And now I want to bring everything I learned through entrepreneurship, IT, and watching how this industry works to the table for everyone else who is on that same path. 💪 If you are trying to break in, level up, or just understand how this industry actually works, this is exactly what Wake Up X was built for.
