Yesterday, nearly 300 colleagues globally across Munters joined our celebration of Earth Day in online World Café sessions. What stood out was not just the participation, but the quality of the dialogue - practical, curious, and focused on how we turn intent to impact. A few clear takeaways from the discussions: • Sustainability needs to be embedded in everyday decisions (true that!) • Knowledge sharing drives both engagement and better solutions (agree!) • Technology creates value when it delivers measurable impact (hear, hear!) Through Mentimeter, we also captured real-time input from across the organization. To summarize: • Design out waste and close the loop: From suggesting we eliminate single‑use plastics (everywhere!) and excess packaging to modular product design, reuse of materials, and fewer errors through automation. Circularity become a daily operational discipline, not a side project. • Energy efficiency first, renewable as standard (which aligns well with our target of 100% renewable electricity and reduce Scope 1&2 by 42%): Lower energy demand through smarter design, data‑driven optimization and upgrades, combined with accelerating solar, geothermal, bio gas and waste‑heat recovery. Do more with less! • Digital, data‑driven, and right‑first‑time: Digital documents, remote service, optimized logistics and TCO‑based decisions, reduce travel, rework and waste while delivering better outcomes for customers and the planet (which echoes well with our purpose: For customer success and a healthier planet). Earth Day is a reminder that sustainability isn’t something we “launch” but rather something we do, everyday. At Munters, we see this connection every day, from enabling more energy-efficient data centers to supporting sustainable food production and improving air quality in critical environments. Special thanks to Rajan Murugesan presenting how this is made true when applying TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). To quote Earth Day.org : Progress does not happen in silence. It happens when people show up. Let’s keep building on the momentum from yesterday. #Earthday #sustainability #Munters
