In February I completed 10 years at Murex I didn't plan for it to be that long. But looking back, the most useful things I know as a PM came from staying. You see how your decisions age. A product you shaped three years ago becomes a constraint someone else is working around today. That perspective is hard to buy and impossible to fake. You also learn that influence in large organisations is slow to build and easy to lose. There are no shortcuts. I think a lot of people leave just before that clicks.
