I think I speak for a lot of my colleagues when I say that what we launched today is the single most important piece of software we've ever worked on: the same platform -- NetDocuments -- but reimagined from the ground up for the Age of AI. There is sooooo much to unpack (check out the links in the comments) but the headliner is this: imagine if your system of record automatically created and maintained a living map of your firm's expertise -- a map that charted how your matters, documents, communications, and the people working across them relate. That's what we launched: a first-of-its-kind legal context graph. "Context" is admittedly an ultra buzzy word right now but underneath the buzz is a simple fact: that what differentiates legal service delivery is ultimately not the AI tool you use (there are lots of incredible AI tools!) but how that AI tool understands the work at hand -- how you've negotiated prior deals, where the matter stands today, what positions these same counterparties have taken in the past. Without that context, the AI working alongside you is essentially working blind, burning millions of tokens every session to rebuild context from scratch -- and probably still missing critical facts. With it, your firm can deliver quality, expertise-grounded legal work at a pace and scale that wasn't possible until, well, today. Oh and did I mention we rebuilt our entire user experience too? And shipped a MCP server that agents like Claude and ChatGPT can hook into? Kudos to the incredible team behind this: Nathaniel Ruiz , Alex Person , Jeff Carter , Jade Longhurst , Jared Hasleton , Carlos Pliego, and the whole engineering team. Can't wait to see what you build next 😃 🚀
May 2026Gartner named context engineering a strategic priority for AI leaders. We're shipping it. For legal. Legal context isn't just text. It's data stored inside every document, and inside the heads of lawyers — parties, counsel, clauses, key terms, case law, timelines, deadlines. That data lives inside a much broader web: emails around it, the people who worked on it, and the permissions that determine who can see what. AI is only as good as the context behind it. This is that context. The legal context graph connects millions of data points into a real-time, living map of how documents, matters, people, and knowledge relate across an organization — all within the guardrails of the NetDocuments platform. Context changes everything. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/esJdTQD5 #LegalContextGraph #LegalTech #AI #ContextChangesEverything
May 2026I've been fortunate to work alongside a lot of talented people on this project, but watching our UX team bring the reimagined NetDocuments platform to life has been something special. We set out to solve one of legal's hardest problems: how do you give lawyers the full context of their work? Every matter, document, amendment, negotiation, and relationship, instantly, without the noise? What made this effort remarkable wasn't just the outcome, it was how we got there. The team leaned into AI to accelerate design iteration at a pace that simply wasn't possible before, while simultaneously grounding every decision in deep user research. They went back to lawyers, again and again, to validate that what we were building solved real problems and not assumed ones. What they created is the industry's first legal context graph, and it genuinely changes the way legal professionals experience their work. This wasn't just a UX challenge. It was a deep rethinking of how AI and human intuition can work together at scale. They nailed it. To every person on the team: thank you. Special shout out to Jade Longhurst and Lesley Seccia, PhD for leading the UX efforts. The work you did matters, and the best is still ahead of us. 🙌 #LegalTech #AI #UXDesign #ProductDesign #LegalAI #DesignThinking #TeamAppreciation
May 2026Legal technology has stored what was done for decades. Now, NetDocuments truly understands it - with a reimagined experience built around a legal context graph that maps how every matter, document, and communication in a firm connects, so AI agents finally work from real institutional knowledge, not a single session's uploads. This is what an intelligent DMS should be. Proud to work alongside the brilliant teams that made this possible!
May 2026Big news announced by NetDocuments today. Proud to be part of such a monumental moment for the company and industry. #legaltech #ai
May 2026NetDocuments + Anthropic is a powerful #AI combo for legal professionals, keeping your content secure in NetDocuments, but accessible to powerful AI tools like #Claude ! Already installed the NetDocuments Connector this afternoon. Looking forward to leveraging it on top of our built-in capabilities. #legaltech #MCP
May 2026Law firms are realizing the value and expertise that resides in their documents when unlocked by things like AI Profiling and Smart Answers that enable lawyers to find and reuse their precedents more effectively and securely within their NetDocuments repository. Context + Secure Content is the key to success with #AI . Build on that foundation with good training and a Prompt Generator app, and you have a solid solution for AI adoption. “Our documents are the firm’s institutional knowledge,” said Jeff Westcott, Director of Innovation & AI at Akin. “Embedding AI directly into that environment allows us to enhance how our lawyers work without having to move data outside of our secure ecosystem.” #legaltech https://lnkd.in/gkvfV4SN
