LinkedIn company profileZuora was born out of a vision that we could evangelize a fundamentally new way of doing business by shifting the focus of companies to deliver recurring, people-centric services instead of a one-time sale of products. This is how we coined the term, the Subscription Economy®. Today, we see others evangelizing this term, and building entire communities around it. The Subscription Economy isn’t (a

Everyone is asking if AI will kill the billable hour. What's your plan for the 12 cents on every dollar that never makes it to the bank? AI is applying pressure from two directions at once. Compressing the value of hours at the front. Exposing everything leaking at the back. Both are disruptions. The second one is the opportunity that few are building for. Rates up. Write-offs up. Realization declining. Legal. Accounting. Consulting. Same pattern. Applied Intelligence is a six-pillar framework built to ask different questions. Built to set you up strategically for the next decade, not the next quarter. Full Substack article linked in the comments.
May 2026Delighted to be invited to speak alongside Francesco at the AI WEEK in Milan next week. I’ll be decyphering the state of AI monetization, sharing benchmarks from my COMPASS agentic AI monetization framework from 150+ companies. Then the fantastic Francesco Del Bello, MBA will explain how Haier’s WashPass, powers professional washing experience at home, by integrating an AI-powered appliance and application, Disaggregated Chemistry and IoT. And more importantly how this groundbreaking AI-based consumer offer is monetized. Céline Le Gallic Stéphanie ALVES Paulo Baptista Alberto Fabiani Romuald MERESSE Nesy Dorine N. May 2026Some messages deserve more prime real estate than a billboard, and this week, we put ours on wheels across San Francisco. incident.io just launched the PagerDuty Rescue Program. We're buying out PagerDuty contracts, handling migration end to end with purpose-built tooling, and guaranteeing 99.99% uptime in writing. We pushed a press release after ages, a landing page that says exactly what we mean, car wraps circling PagerDuty's own conference, fly posting across key locations in SF, and a retro arcade game called PagerTron because why not? But the thing that made this campaign possible is really the product. You can only make a claim this bold when you genuinely trust what you're selling. We didn't have to go searching for proof because customers were volunteering to share their migration stories. We had to choose which testimonials to feature because too many people wanted in. That's not marketing, but what happens when you ship every single week, when you're aggressive about quality, when you move fast and actually care about making on-call better for engineers. The state of on-call is evolving and the companies that win are the ones investing in the product, not the ones hoping inertia keeps people around. We chose to go all in on making it easier to switch because we believe that when teams see what a modern platform looks like, the decision makes itself. This was a true team sport - product, engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, events, enablement - everyone showed up and made this thing happen. From the migration tooling that makes the whole program credible and the product that obsessively ships quality work fast to the creative that brought it all to life - can easily say this is one of the most rewarding things I've worked on. Very incident.io coded!
May 2026Had a great conversation with @Mark Woollen of @Workday on The Innovation Exchange podcast about how AI is reshaping monetization, pricing, and the relationship between vendors and customers. One thing I keep coming back to: business models are evolving quickly, and pricing and packaging models are evolving right alongside them. As companies move toward more usage- and outcome-based models, operational flexibility and trust become even more important. A thoughtful discussion on what it takes for businesses to adapt in real time. Give it a listen here: https://w.day/4u6G93X
May 2026I’ll be joining Workday Horizons Boston during Boston Tech Week for a conversation on a topic I’m spending a lot of time thinking about lately: the growing monetization gap. Pricing and business models are evolving quickly. Usage, outcomes, AI-driven services, hybrid structures. But many operational and financial systems were designed for a much simpler world, and that gap is starting to show. This discussion will focus on what it actually takes to support modern monetization models across finance, operations, and technology. Not just designing new pricing models, but building the infrastructure and organizational muscle to operationalize them. Looking forward to the conversation and the perspectives this group will bring. https://lnkd.in/e_3fruMs

May 2026Everyone wants to be in the AI express lane right now. But if the other lanes are empty, all you really have is a slick demo. The companies actually getting real business value from AI aren’t louder, they’re more balanced. They’re quietly building across every lane: 🔹 Data Fundamentals: Clean, connected, reliable data so AI isn’t reasoning over noise. 🔹 Data Governance: Clear ownership and guardrails so teams can trust and safely use outputs. 🔹 Workflow Redesign: Integrating AI into how work actually gets done, not layering it on top. 🔹 AI Literacy: Leaders and teams who know how to ask better questions and interpret results. 🔹 Business Impact: Every use case tied to a measurable outcome: revenue, cost, risk, or experience. AI doesn’t create value in isolation. It amplifies what’s already there, good or bad. The real shift isn’t “adding AI.” It’s rewiring how the business operates, so AI has something meaningful to accelerate. #AIStrategy #EnterpriseAI #CIO #InvestingInAI #AIUseCases
May 2026AR shouldn't feel like a constant scramble between spreadsheets, tools, and manual follow-ups, but for many teams - it still does. I’m hosting a live session where Kay Agarwal Provost will demonstrate how finance teams are simplifying collections and cash application with AI on a single platform. We’ll cover the entire process, from invoice to cash to journal entry, allowing you to see exactly how it works in practice. If you’re ready to simplify your AR process, you'll want to be here.
