It’s been a couple of weeks since the /prompt Storymaking Summit, but I’m still thinking about a core tension we discussed: Getting seen isn't the hard part anymore. Getting people to care is. As an editor, I make decisions fast. I'm not looking for a dressed-up brand idea. I’m looking for an authentic, serviceable story that will actually drive our readers to convert. It was a privilege to sit on the panel to unpack exactly what drives earned media in a cluttered world. For me, relevance often comes in unexpected packages. We had a great discussion about that "gut check" moment. The biggest takeaway? The ideas that win are the ones people choose to pull into culture. Thank you to Terence Lance Buckley for the thoughtful moderation, and to my co-panelists Kimberly Hairston-Hicks and Dianna Singh for such a smart, sharp, fun conversation. #EarnedMedia #NYPost #StorymakingSummit #MarketingInsights #EditorialEye
