I am happy to meet with Sally Henderson and Katie Gotlieb from FARRA Engineering Ltd today to discuss about their bid for Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) in Singapore. These are specialized equipment that are used for maintaining the facade of very tall buildings. Yes, it is made in New Zealand in their Dunedin facilities in the South Island! They have great engineers and specialists working on machine tools and very large cranes to hoist these large structures. Their equipment is highly reliable and they are confident to provide their clients with long term guarantee. After all, these are equipment that are sitting at the top of the building and nobody wants to deal with unreliable machines at this height! This is one of the many great engineering stuff coming out of New Zealand! I am quietly confident that we will be seeing some of their BMUs in an Iconic project soon.
