Yesterday, we held our 2026 East Texas Team meeting alongside our new leader, Lamar Merchant, and Senior Director, Rhonda Hollins. It was a highly productive session filled with positive energy and a strong sense of alignment across the team. These in-person meetings are invaluable opportunities to strengthen our culture, exchange ideas, and collaborate on strategies that drive development, growth, and position NextGear for the next level of success. A special thank you to our Sales team, Aaron Wood and Ryan Carpenter, for joining us and sharing valuable insights that contributed greatly to the discussion. The East Texas team also remains committed to giving back, proudly supporting our community through service with the Houston Food Bank. Our team is always ready to serve.

This Mother’s Day feels a little different for me. Watching my wife step into motherhood once again with our new daughter has given me an even deeper appreciation for everything mothers carry that often goes unseen. The patience. The sacrifice. The emotional strength. The consistency. As a new dad again, I’ve realized even more how many “small” moments are actually massive acts of love repeated daily. Today is a reminder to slow down and appreciate the women who shape families, support dreams, and hold so much together behind the scenes. Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible moms out there.

A big milestone this week as DealShield launched our 110th Indepedent auction partner at Metro Auto Auction of Phoenix .
