On the way to my daughter’s soccer game this weekend, I snapped this photo of my husband, wearing an O.C. Tanner “Best Places to Work” jacket. Funny thing is… the jacket was a selection he made a couple years ago. But the jacket? Still in rotation. Still something he reaches for. Still meaningful. That’s what stood out to me. Not the award itself, but the experience of choosing something branded that actually feels personal and worth wearing. Too often, organizations celebrate big moments with items that never leave the closet… or worse, never get used at all. When you get it right—it sticks. It becomes part of someone’s everyday life. If you’re thinking about how to celebrate your people in a way that actually lands… I’d love to share what we’re seeing work really well right now. O.C. May 2026Had an amazing time exploring Chicago with my husband this past week. One of our favorite things to do is visit new cities, learn their history, eat where the locals eat, and truly take in the sights and culture. We loved learning about Chicago’s rich history — from its founding to the Great Chicago Fire and the World’s Fairs. During our trip, we visited the Lincoln Park Zoo, The Bean, the Magnificent Mile, Little Italy, West Loop, the Field Museum, and the Art Institute of Chicago. We also enjoyed river tours and ghost tours through the city’s historic alleys. And of course, the food was incredible. Chicago, we love you and can’t wait to come back. We wrapped up the trip by hosting an incredible O.C. Tanner Culture Trends Tour at Willis Tower. Thank you to my Chicago team for representing so well, and to all the amazing companies and organizations putting so much effort into supporting employee well-being and creating better workplace cultures.

May 2026I have approximately 47 ideas before 9am and do absolutely nothing with 46 of them. Turns out the problem was never the thinking. It's the distance between a thought and actually moving on it. AI, when you use it with intention, collapses that gap in a way that feels almost unfair. Also helps when you're somewhere that doesn't just say "we invest in our people" in a deck and call it a day. O.C. Tanner actually builds it in...the time, the resources, the nudge to keep going. Professionally, personally, all of it. Got the certificate to prove I'm now officially dangerous with ideas. Apr 2026These days, my weekends look a lot like this, walking across a soccer field, backpack on, water bottle in hand, cheering from the sidelines. When I had the chance to select a branded gift through O.C. Tanner, the choice was easy. I didn’t want something that would live in a drawer. I wanted something that fit my real life. Right now, that means weekends spent on soccer fields, running between games, practices, and everything in between. A branded backpack wasn’t just a nice option, it was the right one. The power of choice matters. When employees are given the freedom to select rewards that reflect who they are and how they live, those gifts become part of everyday life—not just a logo, but a story. Work–life balance is important to me. And when your workplace truly supports that balance, it starts to feel like family. That’s when you don’t mind bragging a little. Branded items, when done right, aren’t just swag, they’re one of the most authentic recruiting tools out there. Because when people proudly use something in their everyday lives, that pride speaks louder than any job posting ever could. #WorkLifeBalance #GiftOfChoice #EmployeeExperience #CultureInAction #RecruitingDoneRight #ProudToBelong #OCTanner O.C. Apr 2026Thought I’d take a moment and recognize Deb Volpe for 35 years at O.C. Tanner ! It was fun to spend the day in Salt Lake City recognizing the incredible impact she has had in Chicago and continues to have across our largest clients. She’s helped me on projects starting with Fresenius Kabi USA and as recently as Transdev North America and I’ve learned so much from her over my 10 years. Thank you Deb for teaching me so much and continuing to bring your greatness!
Apr 2026✨Fresh off a week in Singapore for O.C. Tanner 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 2026 ✨ The two events were exceptional in open conversation, sharing and dialogue on the key employee experience needs for the year ahead: ➡️ 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: employees crave the uplifting moments that connect, propel and fulfil. ➡️ 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: individuals and organisations are more likely to thrive when passive expectations become renewable actions. ➡️ 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬: when high expectations meet the right support, employees and business thrive. ➡️ 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬: the key to achieving and maintaining employee inclusion is coworkers ... ...
