May 2026Shout out to my Daughter, Gianna, for being awarded the "Nurse of the Year" award! Way to go - so very proud of you always❤️
Apr 2026A hill I will die on: Leading a geographically distributed team is a skill that must be developed and advanced. Just because someone has led a team locally does not always translate to success when not in close proximity to their teams. It requires a defined operating model that includes tools, resources, and communication channels - along with KPI’s and performance goals.
Apr 2026It was a privilege to partner with Scott + Reid General Contractors, Inc. , OTJ Architects , and JLL to bring our new Dallas headquarters to life. Seeing our own OBE glass and CRL partitions and hardware integrated so seamlessly is the ultimate proof of concept. I love that it’s now a living showcase where we host our customers, architects, and remote teams for tours and deep-dive collaboration. Huge shoutout to the incredible team who brought this vision to life! We're proud to walk into this space every day and even prouder to share it with our employees and partners.
Apr 2026What This Year's Coachella Taught Me About Marketing There are few places left where culture, commerce, and creativity collide in real time. Coachella is one of them. What looks like a music festival on the surface is actually one of the most sophisticated live marketing labs in the world—where brands compete not for attention, but for relevance. And this year, a few things became very clear. Authenticity Isn’t Optional Anymore (And Neither Is Traditional Marketing) Here’s where most brands still get it wrong. Coachella audiences are hypersensitive to inauthenticity. Why? Because they’re not just consumers—they’re participants in culture. And culture doesn’t tolerate forced narratives. But here’s the surprising part: Even the most “traditional” channels—like billboards—still perform, and in some cases, outperform. Driving into the desert, you’re hit with a wave of brand messaging. Some forgettable. Some impossible to ignore. The difference wasn’t format. It was truth. The billboards that broke through weren’t polished corporate taglines—they felt native to the moment: Self-aware Minimal Slightly irreverent Designed for a photo, not just a glance And the data backs it up: High-impact out-of-home (OOH) campaigns can deliver 2–5x ROI, even in saturated environments like Coachella Experiential marketing success is increasingly tied to emotional connection and brand affinity—not just impressions The rise of the “superfan economy” shows that people invest where they feel identity and belonging So what’s the real takeaway? It’s not digital vs. traditional. It’s authentic vs. ignorable. A billboard can outperform a full-scale activation. A simple message can beat a million-dollar production. But only if it resonates. Translation: If your brand doesn’t mean something, it won’t go anywhere.
Apr 2026HR as a business partner is my passion. Yes, we support the day-to-day administration of any number of transactional items, but that is just what I call “paying the bills.” The rest is org design, talent strategy, OD, and operating in such a way that business leaders can focus their energy on gaining market share and delivering for our customers. HR as a business partner impacts EBITDA!
