Matt Sigelman ’s piece in Stanford Social Innovation Review makes an important argument: in the age of AI, education must be redesigned around “thriving careers.” The skills students need to thrive professionally, judgment, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, data literacy, problem-solving, adaptability, are also the skills they need to participate meaningfully in democratic life. AI makes this even more urgent. If entry-level tasks are automated, young people may have to “start in the middle”: arriving on the labor market with stronger capabilities than previous generations needed at the same age. That raises the stakes for schools, universities, employers, and public policy. A few implications stand out: First, we should stop treating career education as a second-class track. Every student deserves serious guidance, exposure to real labor-market opportunities, and an understanding of which jobs are genuine launchpads. Second, work-based learning should become a core part of education, not an optional add-on. Third, lifelong learning must become a public infrastructure. In an AI economy, education cannot be something we “finish” at 22. The future of education is preparing people to flourish in a world where work itself is being redesigned.
May 2026The traditional education system was built for uniformity. But students are not uniform. Two students sit in the same classroom: – Same teacher – Same lesson – Same time Yet their outcomes can be completely different. Why? Because the system assumes equality = giving everyone the same thing. But real equality is giving each student what they actually need. Some need more time. Some need different explanations. Some need encouragement. Some are simply left behind. And that’s where the gap starts. Not because students lack potential… …but because the system lacks adaptability. We’ve normalized a model where: - Speed matters more than understanding - Standardization replaces personalization - And “average” becomes the target But no student is average. This is not just an education issue. It’s an opportunity issue. And if we don’t rethink it, we’re not just losing talent… we’re limiting entire futures. At Kidaiz we believe education should adapt to the student, not the opposite. Because every child deserves a fair chance to succeed. 👉 Follow me for more insights on the future of education 👉 Follow Kidaiz to see how we’re building it #Education #EdTech #AI #PersonalizedLearning #Kidaiz #FutureOfEducation
Apr 2026💾 Stop using the wrong storage type. Yes, I said it. Too many architectures are overengineered… Or worse, completely misdesigned, because people treat: Block storage, file storage, and object storage as if they’re interchangeable. They’re not. Let’s be honest 👇 🧱 Block Storage Fast. Low latency. Built for databases. If you're running a transactional workload, this is your foundation. Using anything else? You’re gambling with performance. 📂 File Storage Shared filesystem. Multiple instances. Legacy-friendly. Great when apps expect a traditional file system. But don’t pretend it scales infinitely. 🪣 Object Storage Massively scalable. API-driven. Cheap at scale. Perfect for backups, logs, images, data lakes. But it’s not a mounted disk, stop trying to use it like one. 💡 Here’s the uncomfortable truth: If your storage choice was “because that’s what we always use” You probably didn’t design the system. You just copied the last one. Storage decisions impact: - Performance - Scalability - Cost - Resilience This isn’t a minor detail. It’s architecture. So tell me, what’s your default choice? And are you sure it’s the right one? #Cloud #DevOps #Architecture #Storage #Kubernetes #AWS #Azure #Infrastructure #SRE #OpsForAll
