Can academic rigor and workforce agility actually coexist? That was the core question during our panel at the WASC Senior College and University Commission Annual Accreditation Conference (ARC 2026) in San Francisco. A few weeks later, the insights from that session are still very much on my mind. It was an honor to join Beatriz Jiménez Luengo , AINHOA URIBE OTALORA and Bernadette Kiarie Ph.D. , for a deep dive into "International Innovation in Action for Today’s Strategic Challenges." A few things I took away from our conversation: - Accreditation as an enabler: we discussed how OpenClassrooms ’ journey as a WSCUC-accredited institution proves that digital models don’t have to sacrifice rigor to stay fast and flexible. - The "Applied Degree" gap: there is a shared urgency to integrate work and study. Our apprenticeship model isn't just about jobs; it’s about making sure higher education remains relevant in an AI-driven economy. - Global perspectives: it was refreshing to hear how we can collectively solve strategic talent shortages by thinking beyond traditional borders. A huge thank you to the WSCUC team for the invitation and to my fellow panelists for the candid, forward-thinking dialogue. It is through these collaborations that we truly redefine what a modern degree can achieve. To those we met at ARC 2026: thank you for the warm welcome. Let’s keep the momentum going! What was your favorite session or takeaway from the conference this year? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. 👇 #WSCUC #ARC2026 #HigherEd #Apprenticeship #FutureOfWork

National Apprenticeship Week: Let’s move from conversation to action. 🇺🇸 Next week marks National Apprenticeship Week (NAW 2026). While this is a time to celebrate the growth of the American workforce, it’s also a critical moment for leaders to move from dialogue to action. At OpenClassrooms , we believe the best way to solve the skills gap is through direct connection. That’s why we’re hosting a series of webinars and in-person events across the country to bring together the employers, policymakers, and innovators who are building the "New College" blueprint. Why your teams should join us on the ground: - Strategic Networking: We’re hosting sessions in NYC, Washington D.C., Dallas, and San Diego. These are unique opportunities to exchange best practices with peers who are successfully scaling Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAPs). - Bridging the AI Gap: Learn how leading organizations are moving beyond "buying" talent to "building" it, creating sustainable pipelines for critical roles in tech and data. - Rigor at Scale: Discover how our WSCUC-accredited model delivers the academic excellence of a traditional degree with the speed and flexibility of a digital-first platform. Whether you join our experts at one of our networking cocktails or tune into our global webinars, the goal is the same: making high-quality, employer-aligned education a reality for everyone. 📅 Link to register to all our NAW 2026 events in the comments: - Webinar | What’s an apprenticeship, on April 28th at 1 pm ET - Webinar | Apprenticeships with a Degree, on April 29th at 1 pm ET - Webinar | Upskilling and Career Transitions, on April 30th at 1 pm ET - Networking events in Dallas and DC on April 28, and in San Diego and NYC on April 30 at 6 pm local time US Employers: Are you currently using apprenticeships as part of your talent strategy, or is it still a "future project" for you? Let’s connect in the comments. 👇 #NAW2026 #ApprenticeshipUSA #FutureOfWork

National Apprenticeship Week is the right moment to move from conversation to action. 🇺🇸 I’m proud that OpenClassrooms is bringing employers, workforce leaders, policymakers, and education innovators together during NAW 2026 to discuss how we scale high-quality Registered Apprenticeship Programs across the U.S. For employers, apprenticeships are not just a workforce development initiative — they are a practical talent strategy. They help organizations build the skills they need, create stronger career pathways, and connect education directly to business needs. Join us next week for our webinars and in-person networking events in NYC, Washington D.C., Dallas, and San Diego. Would love to see employers, partners, and workforce leaders join the conversation — and more importantly, help turn it into action. #NAW2026 #ApprenticeshipUSA #FutureOfWork #WorkforceDevelopment #RegisteredApprenticeship

Excited to be back at ASU+GSV Summit—this time alongside Pierre Dubuc , Charlène Friang , and Zak Waddell Each year, this moment brings together leaders who are actively reshaping what higher education can—and should—be. And the shift is becoming clearer: the future isn’t just about access, it’s about outcomes. At OpenClassrooms, we’re focused on scaling apprenticeship degrees—fully accredited programs designed to connect education directly to employment. Employer-funded, debt-free, and built around real jobs, this model is redefining the value of a degree. Not just learning for a credential—but learning that leads to a career. Over the next few days, I’m looking forward to connecting with others who are building toward a system where: 👉 degrees are aligned to workforce needs 👉 employers are embedded in the learning experience 👉 and students graduate with both a diploma and a pathway forward If you’re in San Diego, let’s connect—I’d love to exchange ideas on how we make education that works the standard. #ASUGSV2026 #Apprenticeships #ApprenticeshipDegrees #FutureOfWork #HigherEducation #openclassrooms

Hello San Diego! 🌴 Excited to be at ASU+GSV Summit for the very first time, alongside Pierre Dubuc , LISA SKELLY , and Zak Waddell. Coming straight from the ARC2026 WSCUC summit in San Francisco last week, I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many leaders reimagining the “New College.” I’ll be spending the next few days diving into conversations on how we can build a debt-free, employer-aligned higher education system. At OpenClassrooms , we’ve been scaling our WSCUC-accredited apprenticeship model, and I’m eager to share notes with fellow education innovators. If you’re here in San Diego, let’s connect! I’d love to grab a coffee or chat in the hallways about how we can collectively make "Education that works" the new global standard. #ASUGSV2026
