Big thanks to all the esteemed speakers and guests who attended the Operative INVIEW conference. Many valuable insights were shared but one thing is clear…AI is quickly transforming both content and advertising. Beyond mere efficiency gains publishers are leveraging AI to improve ad intelligence and decisioning across the entire work-flow…from planning…to activation…to delivery, performance and optimization. What’s critical in the process is having an orchestration layer that can unify data and decisioning across all platforms and channels. Enter AOS.
May 2026After 22 years, today marks my last official day at Operative. That's a long time... my son was 1 month old when I started! Long enough to see the company evolve through three names, two acquisitions, and a genuine transformation of what media technology can do for the industry. Long enough to progress from software developer to VP – leading teams across five countries, building functions from scratch, transforming teams and processes along the way. Long enough to work with some genuinely brilliant people – many of whom I'm lucky enough to still call friends. I'm incredibly proud of what we built together. The teams, the processes, the moments where we figured something out that nobody had figured out before. But above all it's the people I'll remember – the friendships, the laughs, having each other's backs when it mattered. What's next? I'm looking for a VP-level operational leadership role – Professional Services, Technical Services, Operations, or Service Delivery – ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology business where there's real operational challenge and a leadership team that values both strategic thinking and getting things done. If that sounds like somewhere you know, I'd love to hear about it. And if you just want to catch up – I'm always up for that too.
