May 2026Great day meeting many leaders across the private markets. Look forward to continuing the conversations.
May 2026What's the rationale behind Lazard 's and Campbell Lutyens ' mega-advisory combination? It was a pleasure speaking with Holcombe Green and Gordon Bajnai , the future co-CEOs of Lazard CL, following the announcement of Lazard's planned acquisition of the independent adviser. “One of the benefits of size is that you can invest, and if somebody has a good idea, we can put some money behind them and say, go build a business,” Holcombe told me. “That’s how the secondary business started at Lazard behind me, it’s how infrastructure started at Campbell Lutyens, and it will be how some business that I can’t even think of today starts tomorrow inside of Lazard CL.” All of your questions answered below in Secondaries Investor 's article. https://lnkd.in/eVSA5YU9

May 2026Attending the Impact Investor Global Summit next week with Justin S. to showcase the New Private Markets platform. The conversation around energy transition is becoming far more focused on capital deployment, investability and LP appetite in a changing geopolitical environment, which makes this year’s discussions particularly timely. Looking forward to connecting with LPs, GPs and industry peers across the event. If you’re attending and would like to see the platform, let myself or Justin know!
May 2026Now live - a complete re-imagining of the Infrastructure Investor platform! This ground-up re-design more efficiently brings together our extensive database covering investors, fund managers, fundraising and deals with our market-leading networks and events - and, of course, our editorial insight remains front-and-centre, with stories and analysis from Infrastructure Investor and Infrastructure Investor Deals all in the same place. There has been a huge effort in the background at PEI to reach this point - well done to everyone involved and keep an eye out for a future roll-out of this platform across our other brands and asset classes in due course. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/g64BvFUF And reach out if you have any questions at all! #infrastructure #infrastructureinvestor #privatemarkets
May 2026The PERE Podcast is back and this latest episode brings you an illuminating discussion between Sixth Street 's head of US real estate Marcos Alvarado which took a super useful reading of today's private institutional level real estate markets today. Among many his insights, he described a "stuck" market where "the capital structures are broken" and there's no "forcing function" to get them unstuck. Perhaps unsurprising given the risk-return profiles run at Sixth Street at the moment, that's the way he likes things! Thanks to PERE Credit 's Randy Plavajka for thoughtfully framing the conversation. https://lnkd.in/eHEqhmVG
