After nearly three years at Perforce Software, I’m searching for my next opportunity in content marketing. Being a working mom has taught me so much about delegating, documenting, making data-based decisions—and learning to ask for help. If you’re hiring or know of any openings for content strategists, marketing communications specialists, freelance writers, or related positions, I’d really appreciate any leads or introductions. What I bring: -A decade of agency and brand-side content marketing in B2B tech and healthcare -Ability to tie together complex technical content into clear, concise copy when AI overviews fall short -A knack for wrangling engineers and software developers to create credible thought leadership content on their behalf -A pulse on SEO/GEO best practices to continually optimize content as algorithms evolve -Experience with all sides of content strategy and execution, including web, print, video, paid advertising, social media, PR, ghost writing, and content audits -Client relations, project management, and performance reporting experience What I’m looking for: -Hybrid or in-person roles in the greater Minneapolis area, or fully remote roles -I’m also open to contract and freelance content roles If we’ve worked together before, please consider writing a recommendation. And until the next opportunity comes, I’ll be soaking up the sunshine with my little adventure buddy.
May 2026I had the pleasure of speaking at an amazing partner event hosted by Digy4 and Perforce Software at the Canadian Embassy in London 🇨🇦. We focused on the future of AI in Quality Engineering and bringing the world of the theoretical into the tangible. A few key takeaways from the sessions: 1. AI orchestration is the future. We’re moving toward a world where autonomous agents collaborate to do the heavy lifting, while humans orchestrate the entire lifecycle. 2. Ideation to production without writing code is rapidly becoming feasible. In the near future, teams will be able build, test, and deploy applications all through natural language and MCPs. 3. Making sense of data at scale is becoming a critical differentiator. As generative AI accelerates how quickly we can create outputs, the challenge shifts to interpreting data at scale. Those who can turn large volumes of information into meaningful, actionable insights will lead the industry. 4. Security and compliance must come first. Enterprise-grade AI requires adherence to emerging standards like ISO 42001, and many in-house solutions may fall short of these evolving expectations. We're in exciting times for QA where we're not just improving testing, but also redefining how software gets built. I'm thankful for the fantastic team at both Perforce and Digy4, and to our wonderful customers who attended the event! Siara M. Johnny Lam Srdjan N. Bala M. Keith Puzey Gregg Swensen Julius Mong

May 2026Last Friday I had the opportunity to join the TeamWomen Leadership Conference in Minneapolis! Perforce Software had an incredible group of team members show up to learn, connect, and grow altogether! This conference every year is motivational and inspirational - this year was right on brand for TeamWomen in offering that! A few key takeaways the keynotes shared that are worth highlighting are: 1. As leaders, we find a lot of peace when we let go of perfectionism. 2. Legacy is built through intentional living. 3. Confidence comes after action, never before. 4. When you say "yes" to something, recognize you are saying "no" to something else. 5. Shared experiences build trust faster than anything else. 6. Let's collectively ensure women in the workplace aren't over-mentored and under-sponsored - they should be both mentored and sponsored! May 2026We talk a lot about technical debt in AI systems. But I think one of the bigger challenges many CTOs are dealing with right now is silo debt. In most organizations, AI is not built in one place. It gets assembled across data, platform, security, infrastructure, and product teams, all moving fast and all optimizing for different outcomes. That is not a people problem. It is simply how modern engineering organizations evolved. But once those systems come together in production, the gaps show up quickly. Handoffs take longer than expected. “Ready” means different things to different teams. A change that looks safe in one layer creates unintended consequences somewhere else. And most of these issues are invisible during development. They only appear once everything is connected and operating as a system. What seems to matter more now is creating a more shared system of work. Not just shared tools, but shared operational visibility, shared definitions of readiness, shared governance, and tighter alignment between the teams building AI systems and the teams responsible for running them at scale. As AI becomes more embedded into delivery pipelines and operational workflows, I think this becomes one of the defining engineering leadership challenges of the next few years. Curious how others are approaching this across their organizations. #AI #DevOps #PlatformEngineering #AIGovernance #EngineeringLeadership Perforce Software

May 2026Agile ≠ less structure. A few truths I see across teams: 💫 Agile doesn’t reduce governance—it requires continuous refinement and feedback 🔒 Hybrid Agile is now the standard in regulated environments 🔀 Traceability is what keeps Agile from turning into chaos If you’re trying to scale Agile without losing control of your product lifecycle, Agile ALM is worth a closer look. We break down how Agile ALM tools differ from traditional Agile project tools: 👉 https://lnkd.in/g3wTst5E How is your team balancing speed with governance right now? #Agile #ALM #ProductDevelopment #SoftwareDevelopment #DevOps #ProductLifecycle #Compliance Perforce Software

May 2026I read an insightful article this morning: https://lnkd.in/eBRghrCA The premise is that there is a fundamental problem with how we've been doing test automation. We (as an industry) have been focused on creating automated tests that walk through a business process in a pre-defined manner, dependent on brittle, platform dependent locators/selectors and a UX flow that needs to be static. This is the state of test automation. The concept of self-healing that is prevalent across the industry today, is all about addressing the dynamic nature of those locators/selectors, making things better, but doesn't address that the UX flow may change, whether due to a business need, improved design, or change in the logic. At Perforce Software we recognized this fundamental problem a while ago and started investing and developing a fundamentally different approach to test automation. Those efforts have been realized in Perforce Perfecto AI, which takes an execution agentic approach to test automation. This approach is to change how you do test automation and focus on intent-driven test steps, that the AI then evaluates how to, at execution time, achieve those objectives in the application being acted against. This approach addresses both the reliance on fragile locators by working at the visual level, and handles changes to the UX flow because the AI is evaluating at run-time how to achieve the goal of the test step. This approach also has reaped additional benefits, we're now able to automate, in minutes, steps/tests that previously were "bad candidates" for automation due to a multitude of potential reasons (e.g. object doesn't exist in DOM until hovered upon, objects are dynamically driven from business rules, images comparing to textual descriptions), where it would take too much time to figure out how to automate so that the ROI compared to manually testing would never be met. Is it perfect? No, but it's so far beyond what we've been doing for the past 20-30 years that it seems like it's too good to be true. If you haven't seen it yet, feel free to reach out to me, one of our partners, or directly to your Perforce account executive and we'll be happy to schedule some time with you. #TestAutomation #Agentic #ThinkDifferently
