May 2026Not all producer roles are created equal. We’re hiring an Executive Content Producer at R/GA — someone who can actually build the production model, not just run it. Big, integrated shoots. Multi-million dollar budgets. Dozens (sometimes hundreds) of assets from a single capture. You’re the person making the calls when creative ambition meets real-world constraints. It’s complex, a bit messy, and high impact — in the best way. If that sounds like you (or someone you trust), let’s talk.
Apr 2026Every idea we share leaves a small signal behind. On its own, a single post rarely means very much. It might be read quickly, agreed with, or simply pass through someone’s feed without much attention. But those signals accumulate. Gradually people begin to notice patterns in how someone thinks. The types of problems they speak about. The perspective they return to when discussing their work. Slowly, a picture forms. Not only of what someone does, but of how they approach the work they do. This is why I tend to see personal branding less as a content exercise and more as a long-term communication process. A professional footprint forms gradually. Not through volume, but through repeated glimpses of someone’s thinking. #ProfessionalPresence #ThoughtLeadership #PersonalBrandClarity
Apr 2026Genuine question for anyone running an AI transformation programme. What percentage of your investment is going toward doing existing work faster versus fundamentally rethinking what you do? I lead R/GA 's AI enablement programme. After months of fixing tool access, mapping workflows, driving adoption, and training the entire company, I've started to see a pattern. Every services business is racing to build the same faster horse. Same tools. Same efficiency gains. Same timelines. When everyone achieves those gains at roughly the same time, the advantage disappears. Clients expect the speed as standard, then push prices down. You've compressed margin, not created it. So where does value actually live? There’s a shift happening in how value gets created. Historically, businesses like ours sold the things we made: the strategy, the campaign, the experience. Increasingly, the real product is the system that produces those things. The prompts that encode our best strategic thinking. The scaffolding that lets AI do the production work while humans focus on the judgment calls. We’ve gone from being a business that makes things to a business that makes things that make things. The winners will be the ones who combine taste and tools most effectively: deep domain judgment directing powerful AI systems toward the right problems, producing the right outputs, for the right reasons. Tools without taste produces volume. Taste without tools is too slow. The combination is the competitive advantage. Tools are abundant. Taste is scarce. I wrote the full argument up. Ignore my face. The interesting part of this inaugural AWARD Lab GenAI Sprint is the jury: Mandie van der Merwe , Sharon Edmondston , Hilary Badger , Bridget Jung , Scott Dettrick , Ross Colebatch , Elizabeth McIntyre and Dwayne Koh - a group with the range to see this clearly and the judgement to push beyond the obvious. Because a new category should still feel open. No inherited formulas, no easy consensus, no safe middle. A chance to define what deserves to count. I’ve no interest in AI making old ideas faster. I’m interested in the moments it opens up genuinely new creative possibilities. New category. Serious jury. Exactly where this space should be tested. Looking forward to it. Thanks to Leonardo.Ai , Lucia Elliott, Advertising Council Australia , Outdoor Media Association , Kate Neill , R/GA , Rachael Hoy and the AWARD team.

Apr 2026We’ve got a bunch of amazing work up for the Webby Awards this year, but I’d especially love your vote for our Google x Moncler project, From the Mountains to the City. We’re currently in 2nd place in Best AI, Technical Achievement, and voting closes tomorrow. https://lnkd.in/gEJu753v And while you’re clicking around, feel free to show the rest of R/GA’s work some love too.

Apr 2026Peppermint tea in hand, I had the pleasure of sitting with Pip as he walked me through Flint - a new divergent AI model for creative novelty, built from the ground up. What I’ve always admired is that he saw the real risk in this wave of AI clearly: the race toward sameness. And instead of joining it, he and the Springboards.ai team ran the other way. Most models are built to converge on the most likely answer. Useful for facts. Less useful when the job is to surprise, provoke, or open up new territories. Flint takes a different position. It’s not chasing consensus. It’s built to surface the less obvious, the more unusual, the ideas sitting outside the average. I’ve been using it myself, and I’m impressed. This is the first time I’ve had the chance to properly play with and prod the Springboards tool in my own time and it’s fun. Not because it performs novelty as a gimmick, but because it genuinely gives you something to push against. If originality matters, this feels worth paying attention to. Login at Springboards.ai #originality #newmodel High fives to Liz , Zoe , Tom , Faris , James , Mark .
