Since Dolly Parton passed away, I have seen hundreds of posts from people stating how they want to channel Dolly and start to be a better person. A better teammate. A better manager. A better leader. A better parent. Yet by the end of the week, most of these same people will fall back to their old ways. Imagine just for a minute. What if people actually looked themselves in the mirror every morning and asked themselves "What Would Dolly Do?" What if people actually challenged themselves to be a better person everyday? A better teammate. A better manager. A better leader. A better parent. So I challenge you to ask yourself, are you just posting about the great human that Dolly was because it is trending? Or are you willing to think about the wonderful human being that Dolly Parton was and look yourself in the mirror each and every morning and really challenge yourself to be a kinder, gentler, warmer, better person like Dolly Parton? Do you just want to talk about it? Or do you really want to work on being better everyday? To answer that question, look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself... "What would Dolly Do?"

I had an incredible time spending time with our Managing Directors and celebrating our Impact Leaders in our Calgary office last week. In a business that focuses on human connections, I loved seeing our teammates and creating the positive vibes that keep us growing. Let’s go team S.i.!

For over a decade, Lucas Moskal dreamed of attending The University of Texas at Austin. He focused, worked hard and stopped at nothing to turn his dream into his reality. Last year he made it happen. Now almost a year later, we are so proud that he is not only living his dream. He is thriving in life. Congratulations Luke on a very successful first year at the Moody College of Communication. We are incredibly proud and cannot wait to see you change the world! #whatstartsherechangestheworld

Revisiting this one, and it feels even more relevant now. Gratitude often gets framed as something personal, yet in practice, it shows up as a leadership decision that shapes how teams perform and how long they stay. When recognition is specific and consistent, it strengthens engagement and creates the kind of environment where people want to contribute at a higher level. Over time, that compounds into resilience. And in periods of pressure, the organizations that sustain performance tend to be the ones where people feel seen and valued every day.
