Your ‘second brain’ is just a search engine Every “AI note app” does the same thing: vector search → LLM → answer. That’s just a search engine with a chat box. But your brain doesn’t work that way. When you recall something, you don’t retrieve a document — you activate a web of connections: the project, the person, a decision from 3 months ago that suddenly matters. That’s the problem I set out to solve. Anvaya (अन्वय — “connection, tracing back”) is an open-source, local-first AI system that doesn’t just store notes — it reasons with them. Instead of isolated documents, it builds a living knowledge graph / context graph of your information — capturing relationships, not just text. Ask: “What did we decide about pricing?” Anvaya connects: last week’s meeting related discussions past decisions the people involved Not retrieval — contextual reasoning over a knowledge graph. Under the hood, it’s a 7-layer architecture — from hybrid search to knowledge graph construction (context graphs) to memory and compounding intelligence — where your 100th question is smarter because of the first 99. Runs fully local: ONNX embeddings (on-device) SQLite (single file, zero infra) Local LLM via Ollama (or Need more brain power use Groq / OpenRouter / Google AI, Claude, OpenAI) <200MB RAM, ~3s startup Built for anyone who thinks in systems. I treated this like an serious product, not a side project: SLSA L3 provenance cosign-signed containers SHA-pinned GitHub Actions full SAST/SCA pipeline If you’re going to trust a tool with your thinking, the build pipeline should earn that trust. Coming next: MCP integration (Claude/Cursor), meeting recorder, Telegram/Discord interfaces. This is v1 — you may run into rough edges. If you do, I’d genuinely appreciate your help: open an issue suggest improvements or contribute directly Github link in the comments.

Had an excellent few days in Nairobi last week, where I had the opportunity to meet with and enable both new and existing partners. Our discussions during the day were focused on the significant growth opportunities ahead in Kenya and how, together, we can help organizations strengthen their approach to data-centric security with Seclore. What stood out most to me, however, is that the strongest partnerships are often built beyond the meeting room. Sharing time together over a traditional Kenyan koroga created the perfect setting for open conversations, deeper understanding, and the kind of trust that turns business relationships into lasting friendships. Thank you to Mwangi Kinyua Nyambura Wangari Zafar Sadik Ram Reddy URAZ FARUKH Mohamed Djenane and everyone who made the visit so memorable. Here's to stronger partnerships, shared success, and an exciting journey ahead in Kenya and across Africa. #ChannelLeadership #Partnerships #Trust #CyberSecurity #DataSecurity #Seclore #Kenya #Nairobi #Africa #Growth #techfirstgulf
