Just completed the Technical AI Safety course with BlueDot Impact . This course is a valuable deep dive into alignment, interpretability, and real-world safety challenges; highly recommend it to anyone looking to contribute meaningfully to safe AI development. The value of this comes from several weeks of consistent study, technical readings, and hands-on exercises. Demanding but worthwhile. May 2026Everything works… until it doesn’t The other day we ran into an issue with a customer where we lost access to their QRadar environment. Access was routed through a PAM solution hosted in the cloud, which went down following the recent AWS disruption in the UAE region. On paper, everything was set up correctly, but there was no fallback in place. Both our team and the customer’s team worked closely to restore connectivity, eventually establishing access through an alternative route via a site-to-site VPN. It got resolved, but it highlighted something simple that often gets overlooked. A lot of environments are designed with security and control in mind, but not always with resilience at the same level. Backup access paths, alternative routes, failover options, they’re usually discussed, sometimes even planned… But not always tested until something actually breaks. And when it does, that’s when you really find out what’s missing. #CyberSecurity #CloudSecurity #AWS #Resilience #SecurityOperations
