STRATOS ’ continued momentum is a strong signal of where the wealth management industry is heading as advisors look for scale, structure, and strategic alignment without giving up the independence that defines their businesses. This is exactly where the right infrastructure matters. By combining entrepreneurial advisory practices with the institutional-grade capabilities of STRATOS , firms can unlock growth while preserving what makes them unique. It’s encouraging to see how SEI’s strategic investment is helping accelerate that vision by bringing additional scale, resources, and operational depth to support advisors over the long term. The takeaway is clear: the future belongs to firms that can pair independence with infrastructure, and Stratos alongside SEI can enable both.
May 2026AI is loud. Every day there’s a new model, new feature, or new “game-changer.” LinkedIn is a nonstop highlight reel of technical brilliance. And there I was, in the middle of the explosion, project managing an AI implementation and rollout before AI rollouts were “cool”. I’m going to be honest: my humanities degree could only stretch so far. I felt, and was, WAY out of my depth. Over the last year, I spent most of my time doing the only thing I genuinely felt confident doing: learning, asking better questions, and trying to stay ahead of a moving train, with varying degrees of success and only a couple of full-blown meltdowns along the way. As I found out, when you’re deep in any implementation, there’s barely time to breathe, let alone contribute to the LinkedIn noise. I wasn’t posting thought leadership. I was in the trenches, figuring things out in real time. The only thing that made those trenches better and the AI noise manageable? The team I surrounded myself with. What my experience made crystal clear is this: my success was never going to come from being the most technical person in the room (I knew that from the jump) or from learning everything the fastest. It came from being surrounded by people whose talent made the entire project possible. I can point to every workstream owner from my first AI product implementation and rollout and say, “I couldn’t have done this without you.” This is not humility, it’s a fact. I can clearly identify what I learned from each person, what talent they brought to the whole, and which of their strengths made each phase a success. Every win belonged to the team. They translated complexity, challenged me, challenged the product, pressure-tested ideas, flipped the switches, explained the guts, caught blind spots, and elevated risks. For me, and probably some of them, the learning curve WAS vertical. I showed the fatigue. They almost never did. The real work wasn’t the project management or whatever thought leadership I could have produced to make noise. It was building the right team, backing it with the right executive support and guidance, and trusting them. AI is powerful. The noise is loud. But a well-built, talented team amplifies that power and refines that noise every time.

May 2026I had a fantastic experience at the 39th Annual FPA Philadelphia Spring Symposium hosted by the FPA Philadelphia . The event offered the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends and build new relationships. Having the event so close to SEI ’s global headquarters makes continued collaboration and staying connected even easier. At SEI , we work with firms that want 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 across their platform, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 in how they operate, and 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 with a long-term strategic partner. ➡️Learn more about how we support RIAs: https://lnkd.in/e7CjGWf5 A special shoutout to Gregory Fat, MBA, CFP® and Neal Nowakowski Jr from The Bancorp , a strategic partner of SEI. It was a pleasure catching up as always. #FPAPhiladelphia #AdvisorCommunity #RIA #SEI #StrategicPartners #Philadelphia
