Yes, the 12C is cool but it will never be this cool. Then vs Now — Ferrari 599 GTO. 2012: $600,000 (new allocation price) 2015: $750,000 2018: $950,000 2021: $1,100,000 2025: $1,500,000 2026: $1,750,000+ 599 ever made. The most powerful naturally aspirated Ferrari road car of its era at 670hp. A 6.0 litre V12. Named after the legendary 250 GTO. The car Ferrari allocated only to their most loyal and prolific customers. Never fell. Never found a floor. Just a straight line upward from the moment production ended. Because 599 cars of the most powerful naturally aspirated Ferrari of its era have only one trajectory when supply is fixed and the naturally aspirated era moves permanently further into history. From $600,000 in 2012 to over $1,750,000 today. The 599 GTO is still climbing. The definition of a blue chip investment grade car. I have helped over 5,000 car guys like you go from buying bad cars that lose money to owning investment cars that grow in value and I want to help you do the same too. May 2026The auction result nobody expected in 2025. On August 15, 2025 at Monterey Car Week a 2005 Maserati MC12 Stradale sold for $5,200,000 at Broad Arrow Auctions. The MC12. A car built on the Ferrari Enzo platform. 50 road cars in existence. The most expensive modern Maserati ever sold at a public auction by a margin of approximately $4,000,000. Nobody expected $5,200,000 for a Maserati in 2015. Or in 2020. Because the market had not yet understood what 50 road cars on a Ferrari Enzo platform with a Maserati badge actually meant as a collector asset. The buyers who understood it in 2010 when MC12s traded at $800,000 made $4,400,000. Today prices are even higher and we would estimate values of ~$10,000,000 given recent sales. Understanding it before everyone else is the entire investment car discipline. May 2026I am excited to announce something I have been working on behind the scenes for some time. Something that I truly think is a value add to anyone who owns or is looking to buy a car in the UK (~78% of households in the UK). Carpraisal is the UK's first AI-powered vehicle appraisal, accurately predicting the current and future value of any car. Helping car owners avoid mistakes before they cost thousands, discover undervalued opportunities, and make more informed decisions. The team and I are currently working towards the launch later this year. We are running a pilot of the product pre-launch for free with a select number of car enthusiasts. May 2026This is why you need an investment car. A Porsche 911 R bought in 2016 for $185,000 (If you had an allocation). Driven 1,500 miles over 10 years. Sold in 2026 for $800,000. Profit per mile driven: $410. The 911 R returned the first owner $615,000% in 10 years. While being driven. On public roads. This proves you can buy and use investment cars. May 2026Everyone says GT3s always go up. That’s costing people serious money. Buy a 992.1 GT3 Touring in 2023 for £185,000. It’s worth £160,000 today. £25,000 gone and that’s before trade value. The Porsche badge didn’t protect you. The GT3 nameplate didn’t protect you. A name is not an investment thesis. Read the full breakdown 👉 https://lnkd.in/eRgD528a
May 2026A letter to the man who sold his Porsche 993 RS in 2014 for $270,000. It is worth $450,000 today. You didn't sell because you needed the money. You sold because you thought it was fully valued. You thought the market had already recognised it. The market had barely started. Don't make that mistake again. May 2026The new car premium nobody talks about. The first year of ownership of a new supercar costs more than most people's annual salary in pure depreciation. New Lamborghini Revuelto: $800,000. Year one value: $700,000. Year one depreciation: $100,000. $100,000 to be the first owner. Painful. Don’t let this happen to you. May 2026The car world's most dangerous phrase: "I'll buy it when I can afford it." The Ferrari Enzo was $1,700,000 in 2016. You can no longer afford it. It is $13,000,000. The Porsche Carrera GT was $600,000 in 2016. You can no longer afford it. It is $3,000,000. The Mercedes CLK GTR was $2,000,000 in 2016. You can no longer afford it. It is $15,000,000. Waiting to afford these cars made them unaffordable. Buying them when you could barely afford them made people wealthy. One was not investment grade. One was investment grade. May 2026In 1999, Elon Musk bought a McLaren F1 for $1,000,000. That car is worth $30,000,000 today. An inflation-adjusted return of over 1,300%. It’s not a coincidence. The F1 had everything the collector market permanently rewards. The fastest production car in the world for years, and a driving experience that simply cannot be recreated. The market caught up eventually. It always does on the right car. Most cars don’t do this. But some do — and the ones that do share the same characteristics every time. Read the full breakdown — and what it reveals about which cars today are sitting where the F1 was in 1999. 👉 https://lnkd.in/e4bJ6Ku6
