Today, we launched Guide, Spring Health’s AI that supports people across every stage of their mental health journey. Too often, care resets when life changes: someone moves, starts a new job, changes insurance, or simply gets overwhelmed. Suddenly, they are back to figuring care out on their own. Guide changes that by connecting people to the right care, keeping them engaged, and helping them build progress that lasts. This is mental healthcare people stay with long enough to see results. https://bit.ly/4cqOJEr
Apr 2026Couldn't find a mental health app that actually helped me. So at 22, I built one. Today, that chapter closes.👋 VOS.health started as a holistic mental health app. Something I needed myself. Then AI exploded and we built ChatMind.ai alongside it, one of the first AI therapy apps in the world. 4 million people ended up using what we made. Last year, Spring Health acquired us. The team is there, in great hands, continuing the mission. But my journey with VOS and Spring Health is done. Time to move on. I grew up with this company. Started at 22, closing this at 28. Six years of learning what it actually takes to build something that matters. Raised millions from VCs. Shipped fast. Failed in some places. Won in others. We heard from users who told us we saved their lives. I still think about those messages. None of it happens without the whole VOS and Spring Health team. Every single person who showed up, built with us, and cared about what we were making. Thank you. And to my family, my wife and everyone who supported me through this. It wasn't always easy. Here I am. Still learning. But I know the direction I want to go, who I want to build with, and how I want to do it. That's enough to get started. Honestly? I can't wait. I love the 0 to 1 process. The chaos, the uncertainty, the moment something clicks for the first time. Those butterflies when you're starting something new and nobody knows if it'll work. That feeling is what makes me come alive. I'm a builder at heart and right now I'm feeling more energy than ever. And I genuinely believe there's never been a better time to start a tech company. The tools, the AI, the speed at which you can ship. There are no limits right now. New chapter starting. Time to build.
Apr 2026Earlier this year, while on paternity leave for the birth of our second son, I was surprised and extremely honored to be named Senior Customer Success Manager of the Year at Spring Health . The physical reminder just got delivered to me a few days ago. This is not a post to gloat, but to share some gratitude. Shout out #1 is to my Spring Health team, led by April Koh and Adam Chekroud . There aren't a lot of companies out there that push you to stretch far beyond your goals and vision - but also give you the support and resources to do it! Shout out #2 is to my #HomeTeam at Spring Health - my CS family. I get to work with a team of truly selfless superstars and friends. On top of that, I’ve had the privilege of being led and supported by Erin Mahoney Maher the entire way. As my manager for over 3 years, she helped make this possible. She leads with empathy, care, and a trust that I have never seen before in the workplace. But my wife Natalie Grant is the real story here. Best for last - shout out #3. Natalie is a true hero. This past year, she went through a hellish journey with IVF and everything that comes with bringing a baby into the world, all while raising a 2 year old and supporting me through a demanding year at work. Late nights, relentless travel, and everything that comes with trying to show up well for clients and my team - she made it all possible, and with a smile too. There’s just no version of this where I get here without her. We earned this together. I feel really lucky. Lucky to have her, lucky to be part of the Spring Health team, and lucky to do work that matters with people I respect and cherish. Excited to be back soon from paternity leave and looking forward to what 2026 holds!
Apr 2026AI is moving fast, but the human side of that change isn’t always visible. Spring Health recently surveyed 1,500+ employees, and the findings stood out to me: 24% say AI is worsening mental health due to information overload 23% feel less control over their future 20% are experiencing increased financial anxiety The AI revolution isn't only about getting all your staff trained and using AI, it’s about how people are experiencing that change in real time. A helpful breakdown of what’s driving “AI anxiety” (and what HR leaders can do about it) is below. I found this very insightful - check it out!
Apr 2026Mental health leaves are rising and most organizations still don't know why. 61% of HR leaders confirmed it in our latest research. Our 2026 Workplace Mental Health Annual Report, built from surveys of 500+ HR leaders and 1,500+ employees across five countries, shows this is just one piece of a bigger picture. Silent burnout affecting an estimated 30% of employees. Financial stress quietly driving mental health challenges across the board. And 95% of HR leaders calling mental health critical to business strategy, while only 9% say their solution is actually reducing health plan spend. If you’re navigating any of this right now, I hope these benchmarks are useful. Download the full report here: https://bit.ly/4cG04Av Spring Health
Apr 2026One thing I like about Spring Health 's annual workplace mental health report is that it shows where perception and reality do not match, for example, 36% of employees said sleep is their top mental health challenge, while HR leaders estimated 21%. That is why data matters. It helps leaders see what employees are actually dealing with and make better decisions about how to support them. Our 2026 Workplace Mental Health Annual Report has a lot more of these moments. Data that should reshape how you're thinking about what your workforce actually needs this year.
