To say it has been a busy few months is an understatement, but it has been worth it - at the start of April, we went live with Epic as our new Electronic Patient Record at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust . I am proud to have played a small part as Torbay's EPR Operational Implementation Lead, but the success really lies with my amazing colleagues at Torbay, and the thanks for support goes to Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust , University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust , the Epic community who provided Super User support, and from Epic themselves. It's a once-in-a-lifetime transformation for the people of Torbay, and as a parent, it's the best news for my family. In case the Epic rollout wasn't enough - apparently I thought running the London Marathon on 26th April was a good idea! 38 training runs and 277 miles under my belt, I’m too far in to back out now. Just 2 more runs before lacing up my trainers for the main event (runner #74797). I’m doing it to support two brilliant local charities, who have given so much support to my son Dan - Link Torbay and Sound Communities.
