One small advice for beginners in tech: I know everybody wants to learn fast and start building things quickly, whether it’s UI/UX, coding, data analysis, cybersecurity, or any other tech field. But please, take your time to truly understand what you’re learning. Learn the foundation properly. Know the process. Understand the reason behind things. Don’t just focus on getting through tutorials or finishing courses quickly. The deeper your understanding is at the beginning, the easier things become later. A strong foundation saves you from confusion, frustration, and constantly feeling lost as you grow in tech.
May 2026Something interesting I’ve learned about UI/UX design while learning coding is that designers are already part of the Software Development Life Cycle before developers even start coding. At first, I used to think most product issues started during development. But over time, I realized a lot can already go wrong before a single line of code is written. In the UI/UX process, we: • research users • define problems • generate ideas • build prototypes • test solutions Now imagine rushing or skipping those stages. Developers may end up building: • features users don’t actually need • confusing user flows • experiences that frustrate users after launch Then everyone starts saying: “The developers should fix it.” Meanwhile, the problem may have started much earlier in the process. That’s why experienced teams take UI/UX seriously from the beginning. Because changing a button in Figma is cheap. Changing an entire feature after development, testing, deployment, and launch? That becomes expensive. Good UI/UX is not just about visuals. It can affect development time, product cost, user retention, and business decisions long before a product even goes live. #UIUX #ProductDesign #SoftwareDevelopment #UXDesign #Tech #DesignThinking
