Notes from the Field – 2 Two days on-site. Real business, real constraints. A few patterns that showed up fast: 1. Most “sales problems” aren’t sales problems Cash was stuck behind process and AR—not pipeline. More deals wouldn’t fix it. It would’ve made it worse. 2. Movement ≠ progress The team was busy—but inconsistent. Once structure went in, speed actually increased. 3. You can’t explain your way to execution You have to show it. Modeled communication live—everything clicked faster. 4. Early wins > perfect systems Unlocked one constraint, created momentum and got buy-in. 5. Sequence drives outcomes Fix the wrong thing first, nothing sticks. Fix the right thing first, everything compounds. Left them with: the bottleneck moving simple systems in place clarity on what “good” looks like a clear next step Most businesses don’t need more effort. They need the right problem solved in the right order.
