REPLAY-ing back all of my favorite moments from Temporal Technologies #REPLAY 2026 Conference... 📹 and I'm just in AWE of all the things that happened in those 3 days! We had: - SOLD OUT All-Day Workshops 📝 - AMAZING talks from from folks from OpenAI , Twilio , The Washington Post , LinkedIn , and more 🎤 - Our FIRST Vibe Check "on-the-go" session (in a very ~fancy~ studio) 🎥 - A ROBOT arm in our KEYNOTE DEMO 🦾 (where we showcased durability and recoverability in more ways than expected 😉) - a GIANT INFLATABLE ZIGGY!!! 🪩🪱 - a Speakeasy Tiki Bar complete with "Robot" Employees, Mocktails, and Boba 🍹 - Hackable conference badges complete with games 🎮 - ALL. TIME. LOW! 🎸 - and MORE (what?! more?!) YES, more but if I were to sit here and name everything, we'd be here for another 3 days 😄 Now, if you've gotten this far and you DIDN'T go to #REPLAY this year. You're probably getting that FOMO feeling. Yes, TECH conferences like this exist and YES they are hosted by us here at Temporal Technologies ! And I'm just lucky gal who gets to be a part of THE #DurableExecution Conference for #AI , serving #developers and #builders and learning alongside them. Thank you to all the 2,000 developers who came and hung out with us! Lastly, huge shout out to everyone who worked tirelessly behind-the-scenes, in-front-of-the-scenes, and all the in-betweens to make this conference happen. Again, I am incredibly lucky to work with a team who exudes the utmost care, attention, and camaraderie the way our team here at Temporal Technologies does! Same time next year? 😄 SEE YOU THEN!
May 2026Anyone who knows me well knows that Temporal Technologies is my favorite job I have ever had. This article perfectly depicts why: https://lnkd.in/en7d2XcX This line hit especially hard for me: “In internal surveys where customers ranked different parts of the organization they interact with, Temporal’s sales team scored highest — above engineering and support. That is unusual enough to be worth noting." It is why I love working here so much. We’ve built something pretty special. Sales isn’t just selling, it’s partnering deeply with customers on real, hard problems. Temporal as an organization and as a product, is genuinely aligned around helping customers succeed, and you can feel that in every conversation. This doesn’t happen by accident, we work tirelessly to be reliable in all ways. Excited to see what is next for us 🚀
May 2026We did it. The marketing team at Temporal Technologies just pulled off our biggest Replay ever. I’ve had a few days to reflect on it all and I’m still buzzing. The surface numbers were incredible: 4x attendance growth and 5x sales meetings over prior years. By traditional measures, it was a clear win. I'm known as the data guy. So when I say the numbers aren't the point, I hope that lands with some weight. What I keep coming back to are the moments. Every workshop sold out, from intro SDK courses to advanced Temporal concepts. People left with real, applicable skills. We built our own programmable badges for attendees. Change your name, play a game, hack it… the works. People were so locked in, a few literally walked into walls while playing with their badge. Our CMO thought it would be fun to have a speakeasy like Oga’s Cantina in Disneyland. I was certain our CFO would shoot the idea down. To my surprise he approved it. So we built the 404 Tiki Bar out of old computer hardware from the 90s and 2000s. We even had actors playing as robots, and an actual robot mixing the drinks. Every single person who found this secret bar said some version of: "OMG, this is so cool" or "It feels like time stops in here". And when the lead singer of All Time Low spotted a customer sharing the afterparty concert on a video call, he walked into the crowd and sang directly to the person on the other end. Talk about an amazing customer experience. Those aren't metrics. They're memories. I always try to measure everything. It's how I think, it's how I operate. But moments like these remind me that the most durable forms of trust can't be captured in a spreadsheet. They live in the stories people tell afterward. The best marketing sometimes doesn't feel like marketing at all. What comes next? We are already thinking about how we can make Replay 2027 even bigger and better. But I think the mysterious 404 Tiki Bar needs to be found, again.
May 2026Temporal Technologies just dropped one of the most exciting features from Replay last week: Serverless Workers!! This is a big shift for teams building durable applications with Temporal. You can now deploy Temporal Workers directly to AWS Lambda while Temporal handles invocation, scaling, and shutdown automatically. Including scaling to zero when workloads are idle. No more spending days planning infrastructure or tuning autoscaling policies before shipping Workflows. Write your Workflow and Activity code the same way you do today. Deploy to Lambda. Point Temporal at the function. That’s it. Faster Time to First Workflow. Less operational overhead. Less infrastructure management. More time building products. This lowers the barrier for teams getting started with Temporal and makes operating production workloads much simpler.
May 2026Temporal Technologies held Replay 2026 last week in Moscone, the biggest one yet in! Speakers from OpenAI, Nvidia, Netflix and so many more! As well as a stack of announcements I've been itching to try. Couldn't make it in person, so I did the next best thing, spent some time wiring the new functionality into a tiny durable research agent. Ziggy does the actual research while I grab a coffee 😁 The four announcements I'm most excited about: - Serverless Workers on Lambda - autoscale to zero for workers. All for serverless options, our data team uses ECS for our workloads today. - Worker Versioning - pinned workflows keep running on the code they started with, even after you redeploy. - Workflow Streams - durable real-time streaming on top of Signals/Updates. Token-level LLM output without losing the durability guarantees! - External Payload Storage - a clean answer for apps with giant payloads. 👇 See comments for links! Definitely a fun bunch to build with!
May 2026We are excited to launch the Temporal Technologies integration with Google Agent Development Kit (ADK). ADK users can bring durable execution to their agents by dropping them into workflows with minimal code changes. Suddenly, your Agent has access to Temporal's versatile and robust operating system for distributed systems. Big upgrades to: * crash and backpressure resilience * debuggability * human-in-the-loop workflows * long-running, scheduled, and ambient agents * multi-agent orchestration ADK joins our existing list of Python integrations like OpenAI, Pydantic, and Braintrust, with many more to come. Developers want interoperable, versatile infrastructure that is the best at what it does and doesn't limit their choices, and we're committed to that. Here's my blog with our engineer Tim Conley about it: https://lnkd.in/gFrVScBY And here's an awesome demo from Melanie Warrick : https://lnkd.in/gdj4EmTx
Apr 2026Y’all. Am I dreaming? I can’t believe I got to share this slide PUBLICLY in front of 30 Sr. Managers / VPs of Engineering today on a webinar about how to achieve your company’s Cloud Disaster Recovery goals with Temporal Technologies Any PM in their right mind would kill to have public references like this for a 1 year old product in their portfolio!
