May 2026Between AI hype, creator economy and what felt like hundreds of buzzwords, the OMR 2026 once again proved something important this year: relevance is created where brands, people and real connections come together. What makes OMR special is the range of perspectives you get within just a few hours: from Meridith Whittaker, president signal discussing privacy, trust and the societal impact of AI, to @Roland Emmerich speaking about storytelling, disruption and the future of entertainment. And then there is the creator and culture side of OMR: from the hugely popular podcast Gemischtes Hack with Felix Lobrecht and Tommi Schmitt to creators like ZAH1DE who represent a completely new generation of attention, reach and community building. Very different worlds, but connected by one common theme: relevance. Who captures attention today? Who builds trust? And how do brands stay culturally connected in a fragmented digital landscape? One thing stood out to me in particular: Brand leadership is shifting back towards clarity, consistency and attitude, not just reach and short-term attention. Especially for international B2B brands like tesa SE, this matters. Visibility alone is not enough. Relevance is created when technology, customer added value and credible communication come together. Beyond the content, there is another reason why I value OMR so much: It remains one of the few places where long-time companions, colleagues, partners and new contacts naturally come together. Great conversations, unexpected reunions and new perspectives often happen far beyond the actual stages. A special thank you as well to Publicis Media Germany and MSL Germany Wigan Salazar , Julia Reisch , Christoph Schnabel for the excellent dinner and the open exchange in such a great atmosphere. And of course, it was great to experience OMR together with our CFO Dr. Jörg Diesfeld because communication, brand, transformation and business performance are more connected today than ever before. Hamburg and OMR delivered. Once again. #OMR26
May 2026Strong days in Haiphong, 🇻🇳 with our tesa Asia-Pacific Printing and Packaging (PPS) team. Clear alignment on strategy, a hard focus on portfolio relevance and market segmentation, and real momentum on innovation and execution. Simplifying complexity while staying relentlessly close to customers providing world class solutions is not just talk, it’s a clear direction and what we do! Seeing how a part of our holistic PPS offer “the tape” being produced at our wonderful tesa Haiphong plant reinforced exactly that. Thanks Anthony Bernier and the Haiphong team for the great plant tour! Strong leadership makes the difference: Lee Stephanie did an outstanding job organizing, facilitating, and driving the agenda forward, and Takafumi Tanaka raised the level with deep expertise and open sharing. Also big thanks Juergen Taut and Thomas Gassner for your contributions making this event strongly linked to our Global strategic direction. Proud of this team. Confident in what’s ahead. Now it’s about execution. Let’s go PPS! #tesaasiapacific #Leadership #Execution #CustomerFocus #Haiphong #CloserThanYouThink #PPS #tesa
