Did you know that every year over 665 million people eat at IKEA ’s restaurants? 🤯 Whether it’s the hotdogs, cinnamon buns or a quick lunch during a weekend furniture mission, IKEA has become a staple for many people. Which is exactly why I’m so proud that together, IKEA and Too Good To Go have now helped save 1 million meals from going to waste. ♻️🎉 And milestones like this only happen because of people. The IKEA co-workers showing up every single day with a real commitment to reducing food waste and making sure good food gets eaten, not wasted 💚 And the millions of users who continue to make surplus food part of their routines, whether it’s picking up dinner on the way home, rescuing pastries for the office, or simply choosing to waste less. Small actions, repeated consistently by many people, create real impact 🌍 Thank you to everyone across IKEA and the Too Good To Go community helping prove that fighting food waste can become part of everyday life. One meal at a time 🤝 #IKEA #FoodWaste #TechForGood https://lnkd.in/eAP5bZpp
May 2026Grazie, Italy! 🇮🇹💚 I’ve just spent a few inspiring days in Parma and Milan, and I’m leaving even more convinced of the power of collaboration in the fight against food waste. 👊 In Parma, I had the pleasure of visiting our good partner Mutti and meeting with CEO Francesco Mutti . 🍅 Learning about the company’s history and philosophy was inspiring. Together, we’ve already helped save 500 tons of food through our Too Good To Go Parcels, turning surplus into value instead of waste. A strong example of what’s possible when quality, innovation and responsibility come together. Thank you to Francesco Mutti and the entire team for the warm welcome and for a partnership that continues to grow. 🤝 I also had the honour of speaking at the Green Economy Festival in Parma. A big thank you to journalist elena comelli for a thoughtful and engaging conversation on how we scale solutions, and why tackling food waste is one of the most tangible ways to drive climate action. 🌍 And finally, I of course had the chance to spend some quality time with our incredible team in Milan. Thank you for your energy, dedication and ambition. You are the reason we continue to grow, innovate and make a real difference every single day. 💚 And the impact speaks for itself: More than 34 million meals saved in Italy, including 7.8 million in 2025 alone! 📈 From partners to policymakers to our own teams, it’s clear that change happens when we work together. Let’s keep going. ⭐ #TechForGood #FoodWaste #Sustainability
Apr 2026Something a little different for me next month. I'll be on stage at Food & Hospitality Week on 26th May, talking about the anatomy of a profitable café, the real numbers behind what makes a café work. Food costs, labour ratios, revenue per square metre, the sneaky expenses that quietly kill margins. At Too Good To Go, I spend a lot of time in conversation with café and hospitality operators, and margin pressure is something that comes up constantly. Unsold food is just one piece of a much bigger puzzle, and this session is a chance to zoom out and look at the whole picture. See you then!
