Sitting here at my granddaughter’s 15th birthday, watching her laugh with friends and dream about the future, I found myself thinking about the world she’ll grow up in, especially the future of Sales Engineering. By the time her generation enters the workforce, I believe Value Engineering and Sales Engineering will look radically different than they do today. The best SE organizations won’t just demo products. They’ll drive business transformation. They’ll be AI-augmented, data-driven, and deeply connected to revenue outcomes. Technical teams will speak the language of CFOs, operations leaders, and boards…. not just architectures and features. My first day at Trellix three years ago was actually in Key West and honestly, it was the perfect teaser for what’s been a fun and rewarding ride ever since. Fast forward to today, and another fantastic Partner Event in this great town is in the books. Every year, it’s energizing to see the team come together excited, aligned, and diving into our core technology pillars and the innovation we continue to bring to the table. It’s especially rewarding to see Trellix’s continued investment in on-prem and classified environments so critical for the government and federal SI community. There’s real momentum around helping customers modernize and thoughtfully integrate AI into their classified enclaves. Excited to keep supporting my customers on this journey. I’ve made the decision to leave Trellix. I leave behind an EMEA organization I’ve been blessed to be a part of.
